Here are some outfits from the first part of the month. Not super spring-like yet - let's hope the next batch shows fewer boots and more flats

I'm happy with all the outfits except the last one, yikes. I bought a top at Zara that is more boho and more voluminous than I'm used to and right now I don't see it working yet. I'll experiment further, and any suggestions for how to improve this look (I feel extremely wide and stumpy) are welcome! And if the top doesn't work at all I will also be okay giving it up; at least I'll know what to avoid then...

I love all of it. Great ideas! I especially love the wrap dress with tights. The little problem with the boho blouse is the color I think. I like the style better in lighter colors as they show the unique details of the style better. Did they have the same blouse in any other color?

I love your wrap dress/scarf ensemble. I'd prefer a longer cardi over the button down versus the cropped cardi, but that's just me. Love the turquoise color though.

Love everything! Lots of great ideas, and you look so springlike. How are those new flats, did they relax after the first wearing? I see what you mean with the voluminous top, but I am afraid I can't see it very well on the photo to make a proper assessment. It looks like it has potential though.

Everything is so "you." You have such a great, personal style. I agree the last top has a bit more volume than you usually wear. I'm sure you can find a way to make it work though, if you decide to keep it!

Antje, you really make me see the potential that color creates! Having been stuck in a neutrals groove for too long, I need help with this, and it was so refreshing to look at your stunning red flower vest (?shirt?) and your turquoise flats and to say, Oh -- I get it.

Fab, fab, fab. You look great. It always seems like you make full use of all your clothes -- no orphans. That's partly because you show a nice variety of items, but also because you combine them in creative ways. Thanks for sharing your wonderful style with us.

I love this group of outfits!! Very inspiring. The H&M dress, scarf and leggings may be my favorite. There was not a look that didn't work for me, very fun and playful!! I love the cropped cardigan. I could not see the zara top well enough to make a great assessment, I think it may be the overall darkness that is just not reading well on the screen. Do not give up, you will likely come up with something that works!!

I like all the outfits, Not sure the volume (Zara) top is bad - maybe it would work with a not so skinny jean? A slim,bootcut for balance? Is that wrong?
I think maybe your eye is just not used to the shape but it does not look ill-fitting.
You really have a confident style!

So fun and creative as always. LWC said it best that you "own your style" - no matter what you are wearing, your style is personalized, creative and unmistakably "you". I hope I can get to that point eventually.

I especially love the wrap dress and leggings look. You have that concept down so well!

It's hard to see the shape of the Zara top due to the scarf/lighting/raising one arm. I also wondered whether you might feel better about the volume of the top by pairing it with a slim but straighter cut of pant.

Love the way you mix layers, colors, styles, everything. There's always so much going on in your outfits, and each part goes together perfectly.

I wonder with the voluminous top if it might benefit from going a little sleeker with the other parts -- in other words, replace the scarf with a long necklace instead. Let the volume be the standout part of the outfit on its own, you know?

You really scored with that yellow swap jacket! I love seeing it on you.

I love all of your short-sleeved jackets. I find all of your outfits very inspirational, especially in ways that you combine items. I think that one of my biggest problems is that I wear two items at a time - a pair of pants & a top. I rarely think about other things to put on, mostly because I don't know how to do it and not look strange. You give me lots of ideas because most of your outfits have lots of layering and color combinations. Thanks for sharing!

Antje - awesome. Love everything, so classic Antje and the dress with leggings is a newer look on you - looks alluring, feminine, and brings out all your curves in the right places. I also love how you use scarves. I need to borrow your scarf style for inspiration. And I really like the purple/red and the vest with bright pink flowers. Wonderful. The last top does look too "baggy" but I too can't tell too well in the photo what, if anything to do to salvage it.

I actually think the volume on top might work, because the top looks like it comes in at the waist? but the pic isn't very clear. I would try it again without the scarf (do a necklace instead). Seems like the scarf obscures the shape the top does show of you. I think you were right to do slim on the bottom, but the jeans don't work for me (maybe because the pic is dark). I actually like the idea of that top with a pencil skirt and flats/ pumps instead of jeans. Something about showing the shape of your lower leg balancing out the volume on top...

I'm with Asha about the voluminous top - a pencil skirt and some pumps may be all you need with this. While it's hard to tell in the photo, it seems the top does have waist definition, so I wouldn't give up on it just yet. Looking forward to your experiments!

Pencil skirt w/boots is something I need to do more of ... you make it look so effortless. I always feel overdressed in a skirt. How do you do it?

Also, what is the brand of your white collared shirt?

Antje, you are the queen of layering and you rock your style with elan! You make me wish so bad that I could wear boots. Here in Tampa, I have probably about 10 days a year when it is barely cool enough to do so.

You are such an inspiration!

Have you always had a defined sense of style or is this something you have developed recently? I'm curious about this and would love to hear your story. Incredible calves by the way...the capris w/the dress really showcased such a lovely asset!

THanks also for the suggestion to try my volume top with a pencil skirt. That's a great idea and I will report back...

Shiny, my white button downs are from H&M. The quality isn't as nice as the shirts at BR or other higher end places, and I wouldn't wear them as standalone blouses. But I only wear them as layering pieces, so I'm happy to get them at H&M for $19 or under...
Oh, and Shiny, I almost always wear skirts with boots in fall/winter, I don't find it dressy at all. But wearing them with pumps does make me feel "dressed up", so I rarely do it except for special occasions, and I wish I could cross that threshold for more daily wear... maybe someday. You should definitely sport the skirt/boots look, I bet you'd love it.

Paige - I think I always had a bit of a funky and playful style, but I only really learned how to put it all together in flattering ways when I met Angie and hired her for a "style make-over". It really helped me sort through stuff like what types of cuts and shapes are best for my bodytype, and she encouraged me to be much more adventurous and experiment more, especially with color and layering. I also got better at distinguishing between "this looks great [on some model/other person]" and "this looks good on me", so I am much more thoughtful about what I buy. And now I pick up new tips and tricks on a daily basis from this forum!

Antje, I liked #5, #7 and #10 best and at first glance agreed with you that the voluminous top was a bit off. But on second glance it looked better, especially since it did seem to go in at the waist
