Hi Everybody!
My mom is visiting from Boise and it's been a busy week! I haven't gotten to take photos of my outfits everyday, since we've been visiting a lot of fun historic sites around Austin, but I did manage to get four of them.
Wednesday: I just got my white skinny jeans back from the alterations place, and my glasses arrived Wednesday, too! This is the first day for both of them. I wore this to pick my mom up from the airport (it's a bit of a variation on a similar outfit from a few weeks ago):

Friday: The Alamo! It was hot and we were outside most of the day, but the building and surrounding gardens are beautiful, and my mom loved visiting. She's wanted to ever since she was a kid:

Saturday: Visited Lyndon B. Johnson's ranch house, and also Fredericksburg, where we had "German" food. For those of you who remember the 60s, this is what the press dubbed, "The Western Whitehouse." Sorry for the blurriness, it was misting rain that day:

Monday: My mom hates shopping, and window shopping is even worse (I know, I can't believe we're related). I managed to talk her into a visit to Nordie's though (Boise doesn't have one), and I got her a really pretty Chanel lipstick, and an outfit from J. Crew for her birthday, which is on Wednesday. This is what I wore, which was sort of an experiment, so any comments would be appreciated. I layered my Greyhound t-shirt over my Elizabeth halter so the ruffles sort of stuck up out of the neck. Is this as bad as just wearing a t-shirt, or do you all think this is acceptable? I would probably layer a jacket over this if the weather were cooler:

Thanks Everyone!
P.S. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my glasses this week--thanks so much for helping me pick them out (I know it was sort of a drawn out process). I really, really appreciate it, since I'm specs clueless.
