Thank you so much for your comments, everyone! I really appreciate them!
Shana, Kelly, Jean, Ellen, San, Rena, Grace, Taylor, Vani, and Queenie, thank you so much for your feedback on the outfits, and the chambray shirt outfit especially! I've been dying to try the denim shirt outfit ever since Angie blogged about it. You guys really make my day!
Tanya, thank you for sending me the cheetah print flats! I love them, and as I told you last night, I am going to take them to a cobbler and have them stretched a bit in the front.
Marianna and Jean, thanks for the compliment on my hair! It's been about a year since I cut it (it was my birthday present to myself last year), so I am going to do as Angie suggests and reevaluate it a little. I'm thinking of changing the bangs a tiny bit. Jean, I love your long red hair! I think if you wanted to cut it, you definitely could, but I also love that it's a very distinct part of your style, too. Marianna, you could definitely go shorter if you wanted!
Marianne, Vani and Marianna, thanks for taking a look at the blog! I'm excited about it, it's definitely a learning experience! Marianna, I'm so happy you like the name! I kind of agonized over it, and thought it might be kind of lame, but then I just went with it, hee. Vani, I'm so glad you like the polyvore sets! They are fun to make, and I often see photos of outfits in magazines or online and I wonder what all they are wearing, because sometimes it seems like a lot. I like Instyle when they put those outfits together and show you everything to wear, so I thought I might do that as well in my blog posts. They aren't the *exact* items that I am wearing (that would be really difficult to do), but it's to give the reader an idea of what I'm wearing. Vani, I'm extremely flattered you save my outfit photos! if you want to save the photos, I think you should be able to right click on them and save them the normal way, but if you ever can't for some reason, let me know. I'm not super familiar with the technical side of things yet, and I might accidentally make it so it can't be saved.
Grace, the dress is by J. Crew (which I see on your profile that you are a fan of too). Here is a link to the blog post that lists all the items and where they come from:

Angie, thank you so much for your input! Your comment is not inane at all. I'm kind of on the fence about the length of the red skirt. I think it's okay, but I wonder if I would feel better about it if it were shorter. I ended up shortening my denim pencil skirt because I just felt like it was too long, and now I find I get a lot more use out of it because I just feel a bit better about it. It's good to try new things though. Angie, we could definitely switch wardrobes (well, I could be happy switching wardrobes with you, I don't know if you'd be as happy since I don't have many boots, hee). I think we do share very similar tastes, which I love! I think we choose similar colors due to our coloring, but also because the colors I choose often reflect the strong modern lines of what I'm drawn to. I love bold bright colors, which is in line with the clean, strong styling of most items I like as well. Does that make sense? For instance, Jean chooses warm, earthy colors and that's in line with her kind of earthy, bohemian style. That's my guess, anyway. It's probably not always this way, like a person could do really bright, bold bohemian (what I kind of think of as Cathy's style), or earthy modern classic, but maybe you and I choose the colors we do in a similar fashion?
