Addicted to coats

Realizing I have about 4 or 5 winter coats in my rotation, depending on temp and weather.

Probably wear my parka the most. This year I got a very long camel coat and a shorter belted black and white one by one of my fave Canadian designers Iris Setlakwe.

Probably more coats than one woman needs, but that is one way of making the most of a long winter.

That makes perfect sense...lots of coats for a long winter. The coat in 2/3 is drool-worthy. I love it with the winter white scarf. Is that belt leather?

I freed myself up by removing any kind of restrictions on buying coats. I cannot wear the same thing everyday. I have at least 7 on rotation right now but I have lots more. I love them and collect them.

I love coats too! I have three in constant rotation in the winter, and they're great returns on investments - we wear them all the time!

The "long or short of it" is that you look great in these essential cover-ups and you've got a great style sense in picking what works for you. Beautiful.

Beautiful coats, both of them. I'd like the second in my closet, please. Well, I'd have more coats than I do (Chicago is coat wardrobe worthy) if I only had a coat closet!

Both are stunning. I adore coats but recently decided to streamline and sold a couple of vintage coats I had. I currently in winter I rotate three plus one vintage coat. If you have a long cold winter you are totally justified in having multiple coats:)

In our Canadian winters it's often what people see the most of us, our coats!! LOL I collect them too and I'm not ashamed! I need a coat from about October to May so I can't see wearing the same one or two for more than 8 months. You are free to collect many more lovely coats, you certainly have the eye for them!

Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear that I am not alone in my closet cramming coat habit. BY the way Joy, the belt s leather, but kind of a stiff leather, and I sometimes stick the ends in the pockets when wearing the coat open so it doesn't flap around.

That seems like a good amount for a long winter! Not too may, but enough to keep it interesting.

I love the long one - it's gorgeous. I also have a lot of coats. Most of mine are jackets, both wool pea coats and parkas. My husband asked why do I need so many? We are actually running out of space. He just gets in the car and goes to the office, while I'm out running errands, walking the dog, going to the dog park (brrrrrr!) and so naturally I need a lot of variety, depending on the weather.

Beautiful coats on a beautiful woman! You are right to have many coats, this is actually a very smart way of going through winter. It is so important, when most of the year,what we wear is buried under a coat!
I also like Zapotee's approach. As Lyn says, I am sure the CPW is low in the end.

I also love coats! I've added three to my closet this year because i kept coming across amazing deals that where exactly my style. But i did donate two and I think living in Minnesota you can never have too many! (my husband disagrees XD)
