In planning what to wear to meet up with Aida and Kari for a wine tasting, I knew we had just as much chance of rain as sun. I decided to take Angie's formula for a black summer dress and adopt it for our Seattle weather. A short black eyelet dress met up with my tall black boots. Threw on a black denim jacket and voila, ready for rain or shine. We were lucky and had mostly sun, though I kept my jacket on for much of the afternoon.
Not entirely sure this worked, but it was fun to try something different. I've been on the look out for a cropped denim jacket that probably would have been better, but this is what I had. Bonus "on the go" shot with sunnies on and phone in hand!
We had SUCH a fab time!
