Like the YLF site, I have been busy with my own makeover!

Gap and LOFT having a resurgence in new styles and cuts has been timely, since I was ready for my own style resurgence. I still love my dresses but I needed something new to shake it up, and I have missed the bootcut look more than I thought I did. Since I am most definitely not doing the SYC challenge (LOL!), I have been hitting the stores the last few weeks with a vengeance.

And I got a new haircut!

Next up: new everyday glasses. I woke up this morning and realized these are actually giving me a headache. Not good at all!

Love this outfit: the yellow and the spots look so nice and fresh together, and the shiny shoes just peeping out from your bootcuts is sweet.

i usually am in mortal fear of so many flounces, but i love the dots and the structure the sweater imposes on those potentially runaway ruffles. great segue into fall dressing.

Kristen, I love this outfit! When you see my pic below, you will see why - I was at the Loft this past weekend, scouting out all the new fall stuff and I totally fell in love with the polka dot top! I also wanted to check out the BF cardi's. So I put together a combo I really liked. Great minds think alike????

I am waiting for this weekend's sale to go back & pick up that top.

Oh-- the yellow cardi/dots combo is beautiful (on both of you). I was really looking forward to owning that cardi, but I found the sleeve measurements last night and they won't be long enough unless I size WAY up. Happy for you--- but sad for me, because I won't be participating in any of the prettiness that is the new LOFT.

Oh, you have inspired me! So far, I have only bought a few new fall items...basically stuff to replace what I wore out LAST fall. So I guess I was planning on looking like I did last year Now, I feel like I should pick up an item or two that can mix it up a little bit.
