A few summer outfits - YouLookFab Forum

This is my first "what I wore" post, even though I've been hanging out here for awhile. Some of these looks are pushing the envelope (for me), like the top with volume and the vest. I'd appreciate honest opinions on whether I pull them off. The recent what's your style post has me wondering what three words I would use - I have no idea!

These are the pants I was asking about. I kind of like this top with them - perhaps I just need more in different colors.

The cuff of the clams needs ironing, I just realized (oops). I'm not used to wearing tops like this, but it's very comfy.

I think this is the same top that shiny has. After I got it, I realized that the flutter sleeves are not the best for my linebacker shoulders. However, I like it with the sweater. This may be too much white, though.

Cindy, I think you have awesome style! Your clothes suit you very well and have a great summery look.

The linen pants look great and versatile. The clams, I know you mentioned the cuffs need ironing, but I think they would look more streamlined without cuffs.

The white top and white sweater ensemble: No such thing as too much white! I like the wooden buttons on the sweater; that breaks it up a bit, and I like the color of the fluttery top.

I really like your last outfit. You are rocking that vest! You look very confident and chic.

okay, my absolute favorites were the blue top over the white pants, and the last outfit with the vest. so chic, and you look gorgeous! i also think you rock a cowlneck like nobody's business; a fun statement necklace would really take that outfit to killer level.

cceile, those cuffs are sewn in, but they do look much better when they're ironed.

mac, I never can find my waist, so I'm definitely going to have to wear the vest more often!

hanna, I do need more jewelry, like necklaces. Accessories are an area I find challenging.

Cindy - I'm very late in posting, but I wanted to say congrats on posting your first photos! I was very nervous the first time, but now I love doing it.

I also wanted to echo that your last outfit with the vest is fantastic. That was my favorite.
