So I figured I may as well wear the boots. Sigh...

This is an easy outfit now that I have different permutations of the basic formula. I also like it, which makes me wonder what I'll be wearing in the warmer months that will feel "me" quite as much.

Love it, especially the top and necklace! Can you say a bit more about that necklace?

I'm in your neck of the woods, can't believe it's still so cold. Wore ankle boots yesterday. Supposed to warm up a bit by mid-day but another night tonight in the 30's. I really want to put my gloves away for good:-)

Haha, I feel your pain. It was in the 30's here in Michigan when I was coming into work, I'm wearing boots today too. Love the outfit, especially that shirt and necklace!

Thanks, everybody! It's 46 now and I'm out the door, but it does feel like spring. I thought it would be worse but the outfit is probably just right for these temps.

Chris, there's this spring and summer Sunday outdoor market in the SoWa arts district of Boston where I bought this from an amazingly talented vendor. He repurposes lots of vintage and other unusual parts/pieces in his designs. In my case this includes a vintage beetle brooch, typewriter keys, Icelandic lava, retro daisies, pillboxes (? my guess) and a functioning pocketknife, lol.

Nice! This is great. Love all the tonal greys.

The weather yesterday was ridiculous. Today it's (comparatively) not so bad? I am wearing a skirt with tall boots, so a few inches of knee showing, and am a little chilly but not too bad in the sun.

Spring weather is always crazy. My kids had soccer games a week and a half ago and it was 42 degrees and raining (a light drizzly rain that is completely different from what we usually get).

Yep, that seems very you, and it looks fabulous.

I hear you about adapting our preferred style for the heat of summer, when boots and jackets are not an option anymore. For me, sandals with some substance and style make a big difference.
