Have you all heard about the #30Wears campaign, started by Livia Firth? I'm a little behind the times, as this was, apparently, talked about a lot several months ago, but I love the concept.

The basic idea is to ask yourself, "Will I wear this at least 30 times?" before buying any new piece of clothing. That could be either by wearing the heck out of something for a year or two, or keeping a special piece in your wardrobe for decades. For me, this feels more in line with the direction I've been moving than calculating cost per wear (although that's useful in its own way).

Here are (most of) the items in my wardrobe that have been worn 30+ times. Not as many as I would like, but I think many of my more-recent purchases will get there, and there are some that may have hit the 30 level by being in my wardrobe before I started tracking, but aren't represented here. The items in Photo 3 all have 50+ wears. I think this is something I'd like to come back to whenever I do seasonal evaluations.

What are your #30wears items? Do you find this idea useful?
