2009 outfits

I've not posted in ages. was on overload in Jan. and Feb. So here are a few outfits I've somehow managed to capture in recent weeks. Of course, your suggestions are welcome.

Today, St. Pat's Day (the green shoes might be overkill, but I'm celebrating my heritage)

This is a new top -- Ann Taylor -- and I quite like it. It's navy blue silk, and I wore it with dark jeans, leopard shoes, and gold jewelry. Can you see the ruching up the arms?

This is a Shelli Segal jersey dress I've had for ages, worn with a red cami. Not so sure about the grey tights.

Lovely! Your black and white outfit is my favorite. I find it neither simple nor subdued - instead it's super interesting and perfectly assembled, and all around fab. I also love the navy blue blouse with the ruching on the arm, so fab.
In the last outfit, I wonder if a different pair of tights might be even sleeker, e.g. a textured black pair. The contrast with the black booties is a bit severe.

You are so stylish and polished!! I have missed seeing your posts. Your outfits are so different from my what I could wear and yet I am so inspired by them. Your combinations are always fresh, vibrant and creative! I am not sure about the grey tights,
Antje's suggestion seems like a good one.

I was looking forward to your outfits!!! First of all, can I just say, your hair looks fantastic! I love your outfits all around. I absolutely love the black and white outfit, it is perfection! Navy blouse is gorgeous and pairing it with leopard shoes is ingenious.

What a treat and how tiny you have become!! You and Shiny look like sisters.
Although you have fabulous legs, the grey tights don't show them off. Antje's suggestion sounds promising. The "simple" black and white outfit and beautiful new navy top are fab on you!

Kyle, it's so great to see you. I always enjoy your outfits. Just lovely. I don't prefer the grey tights. I find grey tights to be kind of hard to pull off, generally. I think they are best with other grey stuff. Maybe they kind of fit into the colored tight category, about which we've had lengthy discussions.

Your St Patty's outfit is SO adorable and happy. Agree with Antje and Joy about the tights, though I do like gray tights in some situations.

Kyle - thanks for posting. Love the new sweep of your hair and all your outfits. My fav is the black and white one too, though I love the AT blouse outfit and the dress as well. I would ditch the grey tights in that outfit - and try Antje's suggestion. You so look fab. As always. I'm glad you posted!

Great to see you again Kyle! You really do have your very own signature style that is at the same time very recognizable and always different (if that makes sense).

You look gorgeous in trousers, skirts AND dresses. And I always feel happy after looking at your pictures. You are SO good with colours!!
