One casual, one work. To be honest, I'm not sure that either of them work. The first I dont know about the sleeves or the necklace. The second I am just worried that I really can't wear yellow close to my face.

Hi headcold buddy- I"ve had a horrible headcold for 3 weeks now (just now seeing signs of the end) so I can totally relate.
I like the first outfit- I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
The yellow isn't bad on you, but I agree that throwing the purple on did make it even better. Perhaps with your dark hair, you needed a darker color to balance it out? Anyway, I like it with the purple cardi- alot!

Just how fashion forward are you with your yellow and violet colour palette. I see no problem with you wearing that shade of yellow (but I'm very colour inept).

With the first outfit I think I would prefer if the aqua sleeves were not visible but it is still a superb look for the supermarket.

I think that you look great Tam! As for the yelow, i think it is case when it works better with the cardi over. It is not the most flattering color in the world, but you can certainly pull it off.

I like the first outfit! I think it would look sleeker if you didn't see the sleeve of the tee but it's also fine this way. The necklace is cute with it.

I like the second outfit with the purple cardi. The purple compliments both the yellow and the grey and provides a transition between the two colors. Plus the purple looks great on you and helps make the yellow seem less harsh.

First outfit- very cute and very you- do not mind the sleeve showing.

Second outfit- sorry I do not think yellow is a good color for you- your skin tone is very cool. I love you in purple, therefore the cardi helps but I think you are too beautiful to compromise with such a warm yellow.

Tam, sorry that you're sick! I had a cold last week and it felt awful.

I like the first outfit a lot. I think the sleeves showing under the cardigan is cute and fun.

Honestly, I don't think yellow is the best color for you. It's a great outfit but I would prefer a different color T shirt.

Whew slep for 12 hours last night. Still not 100% but maybe a bit better? Am chugging down a herbal tea as I type to see if that helps perks me up any!

Thanks for the feedback ladies! Seems like overwhleming opinion is that yellow isn't my colour! Shame as this top is nice and thin - perfect for a summers day. Can I get away with wearing it under a more "me" colour like purple as I have here, or should I get rid of the top do you think?

I'm glad the sleeves poking out in the other outfit don't make it unwearable. Next time I will pop on a t-shirt with shorter sleeves though I think!

First one looks great to my eye, but second one I think is too pale for you.
I think you can make it work, try wide black belt with it, or black thick cuff and a gray cardi instead of the purple.

I don't mind the first one, but I really love the 2nd one. I think you can get away with the yellow. The purple color looks nice, but I think it took away from the flattering shape of the yellow top. Really cute outfits overall!

Now some dissent hey?

Hmm Renta I just can't wear belts on tops like this. I am short waisted and have a very ill-defined waist (waist:hip ratio > 0.9) so belts only seem to emphasise this on me!

Angie the cardie *is* purple, as are the shoes (hard to make out colours in the pictures). I thought that would be less harsh than adding black instead. I do like the idea of red as well - I will wear that next time!!

Oh well good to see it sounds like the top on its own isnt obscene for times when it warms up and I have to remove the cardie!!!
