12/13 WIW: If you give a scarf to AJ.....

...she will tie it into a vest! : P

A nice coincidence to wear ink blue and black the same day Angie mentions in her blog post that she is digging that color combo right now!

1) Ever since I discovered that scarf vest trick, I've enjoyed a bit of boho style every now and then. (Sassy photo because I was feeling good in this, even though hubby thought it was "different." LOL!

2) I needed a snack to bring to the boys' school tomorrow, so DD and I came up with the idea of melted chocolate, sprinkles and pretzel sticks! YUM!

Super cute, AJ! I love when you do "boho!" The pretzels look delicious. We made some for Halloween and wrapped the rods in carmel before dipping them. YUM!

Kellygirl, we had the hardest time trying to figure out the best system. First I kept twirling the sticks while DD sprinkled, but then big globs of chocolate would fall on the plate. I did not want to stick the dipped sticks in a bowl of sprinkles because then the sprinkles would be all gooey and make it more difficult for the next stick. So I dipped then placed it on parchment paper then sprinkled on top. So the bottom side does not have sprinkles. How did you manage?

AJ, you really rock this scarf trick. I tried it and it did not work for me: i guess my scarves are not long enough for my height.
You look so sassy in this outfit and wear that hat like nobody's business!

I love this look on you! It's amazing how the scarf doesn't look scarf like at all! I don't think it's boho at all, I think it is a very sophisticated look with the hat.

Agree with Rita - this look reads very sophisticated to me, like Katherine Hepburn with a touch of boho. I love it! Did I tell you that I saw a vest that looked super similar to the scarf vest at All Saints a while back?

And yum! i love chocolate covered pretzels!

That scarf trick is amazing! I would never have guessed it wasn't a vest. Pretzels with sprinkles are a great snack idea. I hate trying to come up with something to bring for my kids' snack days.
