Oh my goodness, she looks so grown up. I got a bit teary-eyed reading about her running and jumping and rolling, and then seeing her mid-air. I could hardly believe that she is 4 already; then I saw her photos. The joy is so strong in her, and you are doing such a good job raising her. Congrats to you both.

anytime I get frustrated or overwhelmed as a parent or at work or just anywhere I will stop and remember the journey and it will center me. I wish I could share video but there is one I recorded After zi go out of the hospital and was in therapy for a while before covid it was a kids event and she sang and ran her little heart out. I sang with her because no one knows your journey or the reason behind that Let it go song from frozen It is such a humbling experience to witness and share in her journey.


Joy I just LOVE our new home it is such a God filled blessing and this year has been really healthy for us and I'm thankful thank you for asking

Unfrumped that is exactly what a midlife baby is like exhausting and rejuvenating. Many over 40 midlife mamas I have spoken with over the years say the same. It is the wellspring of love that I did not know I had that I operate from. Like nike says we just do it. As I look back I think parents are awesome but Mamas Are the REAL MVP Warriors

I can't believe Zi'Joy is four already! Thank you for posting the pics; how wonderful to see her run and jump! I was an over 40 mama, and my baby is living in CHI. In winter, she likes to go to the arboretum.

At some point (in the next few years?) I hope to make a trip to CHI; maybe we can meet at a Zi'Joy friendly place?
