My neighbor is Spanish... And if her stories are true, it's reflective of a wider thing spread across Europe. The American Civil War isn't over here either, btw. NPR spoke to this old guy under a tree last presidential election and he said straight up he just wouldn't vote for a black man. That was all there was to it. I suppose one doesn't expect it in the fashion world, tho, a sort of traditional safe haven for the different, if you will. I thought the fracas between D&G and that American country western guy, forget his name, over in vitro was fascinating in a train wreck kind of way.
