Oh gosh, I'm still working on the long hot summer.

Likely a couple of blazers to go over my summer clothes and some updated tights. I should be ready for new underthings by then too. My fall is more like summer and my winter is more like fall so I won't need much this time around.

Ooh, this is a great topic, Tanya! My Fall/Winter wishlist is very short, since our cool season doesn't last long. But I do have some things that need replacing.

1. Long wool coat in a bright color. The one I have is six years old now and the inside lining is torn. Plus it's black and just not me. I'd like to find one that won't go out of style any time soon, since I will probably have it for another five or six years.

2. Gold watch. Hoping to possibly pick one of these up at NAS.

3. Black skinny jeans.

4. Ballet flats. I need a few pairs to replace the ones I have, which are completely worn out.

5. Tomato red, merino wool, v-neck cardigan to replace the one I have that is worn out.

Good exercise to think this out!
1. Comfortable black heels. I'm finally admitting, after two years, that my pretty Cole Hahn peep toes are cruel shoes.
2. Lowish heel black boot or booties. I love my short laceup Halogen boots I bought two years ago, but they're just too high now for every day.
3. Wide legged grey and camel flannel trousers. These have been on my wish list for years. Maybe this year will be the year!
4. Moto jacket
5. Wild card - that piece I fall in love with and that is not a boring basic!

1. Drapey black sweater like Deborah posted wearing over the B44 skirt. All of my sweaters are fitted V-necks, it would be nice to try to find something more voluminous for a change of pace.
2. Herringbone tights to replace the ones I ripped
3. Utility jacket, maybe in olive
4. Long flowy cardigan, maybe in rust orange or teal
5. Tomato red pumps--I like my red pumps but they are darker than most of the reds in my clothes.

Undecided if I need a classic black blazer or not, whether it's really my style.

Great exercise Tanya!

Love this exercise!

I am thinking about getting...
1) A two-tone watch (hopefully during NAS).
2) New black ponte skinnies (wardrobe workhorse with boots)
3) A couple quality long tunics to wear with skinnies/boots
4) Quality black boots with a tiny wedge (I have plenty of flat boots)
5) A pair of black or dark investment ballet flats

1. Taupe boots
2. Fall/winter handbag
3. Pretty jewel toned pendant necklace
4. New hair style
5. The courage to wear some of the items I already own and have not worn!

I wanted to thank everyone who shared their lists here. It had been lots of fun reading, and I will make sure to bump this thread up to remind us all what we really need once NAS madness starts,

It's been really fun reading your lists. Look back on them in January and tell us how you did:)

I don't have ITEMS on my list per se (accept for those items that are ALWAYS on my list). I just have the looks that I am going for in Autumn and Winter in my head and take it from there.

OK Angie, now I am curious as a kitten about what those looks might be But I will not ask as I feel it would seriously tempt me.

Look at my Pinterest boards, Tanya

Looking for a seriously cool black moto jacket. It's probably going to be expensive. So I have to be willing to wait for sales. Or maybe mine will never go on sale?

This is the only thing I can think of.

Ok I can finally reply to this with my NAS catalog in hand.
1. Colorful leather moto (like the Truth & Pride Orange one page 5, but more in my budget)
2. Python and/or Cognac handbag (LOVE D&B Strap Tassel Satchel pg 19)
3. Patterned booties either python or DV Folly CHelsea Boot in Black & White (pg 24)
4. Gold Square Watch or Horn Watch (not in NAS catalog unless you count the out of my league Philip Steins)
5. Slim Black tall boots to wear with dresses (the ones I got last year are too high for everyday and my go to ones died finally)

I've been super inspired by all of the boyfriend/rolled jeans looks around here. I might be tempted by a pair of those jeans. And I really, really want a pair of Stuart Weitzman ballet flats.

Here's the list that's been running through my mind as I start daydreaming of fall.

1. Replacement charcoal turtleneck sweater. This is my go to comfort piece all fall and winter and mine is on its very last legs. I could not find a suitable replacement last year. The hunt is already on!
2. Frye Carson Oxfords. I'm unsure on color, but leaning towards smoke. I love the cognac, but I want a pair I can wear with tights in fall and winter as well as with slacks.
3. Perfect fit cognac boots. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever find these in my lifetime.
4. Black sheath dress. I have my eye on the sunburst sheath from Ann Taylor.
5. Lots of fun hosiery.

1. Denim pencil skirt!!! Can't find it anywhere

2. Biker boots to go with skirts, dresses and jeans (to replace some other boots that are waiting to be purged)

3. A fit & flare dress with a short sleeve (can't find it anywhere)

4. Summer skirt

5. Chunky and stylish cardigan (wool/cashmere)

(6.Leather jacket - I have started long term saving, so will have to figure out what style I want before actually buying)

1. New handbag (black or dark brown with metal hardware)
2. Blazer (preferably light gray wool tweed)
3. Another BR non-iron fitted shirt (since I just found out their petite sizes fit me!)
4. Flat oxfords with brogue details
5. Wool sweater vest with argyle pattern

Yeesh, it seems like I just crossed off my winter wish list from 2011!

My eyes are peeled for:
1) Emerald shirt - wanted this for spring, too, but waddayagonnado?

2) Comfy, supportive, narrow-footed, narrow-calfed, flat-ish boots. Team Flats here on YLF has convinced me that flats for my feet must exist. Hoping to wear with jeggings and minidresses.

3) Puffer coat - watching one on Ebay now.

4) FLEECE LINED SKINNIES! I've wanted these for a few seasons, but I've only seen them on Asian sites. Come to the US, please.

5) Yes, I will probably fall in love with another jacket or coat along the way. Maybe a bright colored wool?

Fall is my favorite! I can't wait to see what's in the NAS sale, even though I can't go (no Nordstroms in Canada)

-I'd like some flat boots and maybe some fun booties for Fall. I have a hard time picking those out.
-Fall purse
-I'd like a matching suit, but will maybe make one because I'll never find one that I can afford that will fit me.
-?? I don't know what else until I see it.
