I've been loving reading some of The Directrice's blog because it's humorous and because she has a more conservative job setting - not the same as mine but still, less casual.
She gets a lot of things from YOOX, which I've never used. But also shows items from brands.
I don't have her " shape," but it would be fun to see if there are some different makers who " get me" for either a workwear essential , like pants or skirts, or a fun accent piece. She talks about a strategy for just trying out a brand or designer by ordering in a few sizes, but still the site, and concept, could be overwhelming! So many choices, and I know so little about the fits, except assume that most don't!
I have resolved to spend time exploring different makers in our main dept store and some boutiques, more relaxed " retail research" from time to time in place of dashing in somewhere after work, and not buying more duplicates of my same brands, in order to " wait" for a new option that provides a real upgrade- not so much " luxury" , but in fit and fabric and versatility, and if it turns out there is a common theme( certain brands) I could watch for sales and/ or have a targeted list.
This is harder to do online!
What is Fabber experience with YOOX or with systematically trying to get out of a limited brand rut and make some discoveries without getting overwhelmed with too much time spent?
