Hi gang!

I am leaning towards keep on this sleeveless shirtdress from Asos. It was inexpensive, and it suits our warm humid summer -- not clingy, lightweight, sleeveless, and comes to my knees without looking office-y.

It's a bit big in the body, but the next size down is ridiculously short in the torso (a very unusual problem for me to have so this must be cut strangely). I was thinking of having it taken in on the sides, but a belt seems to rein in the volume well enough in the meantime. There is a loose elastic waist under the belt, which is so loose it doesn't touch my skin when worn unbelted. I realize looking at the pic that this belt is a bit heavy -- I think I have a thinner one that fits my waist but I'll have to look. I was thinking a thin rose gold or other metallic could be nice.

And the shoes! I swore no more wedge sandals but these Lucky brand are so comfortable and look so nice on (and there was a sale and I had a coupon), I couldn't resist. One if my old nude wedge sandals will go away to make room for these, since these feel fresher. I love how the color ends up being like a shimmery nude on my skin tone.

What do you think? Please pardon my no makeup face! Also, it's dark and rainy today so the light in this photo is awful. Makes the dress look muddier.
