Here are a couple of outfits. The first with straight-leg pants and black shoes, black necklace. This was my planned outfit, but I decided to do wide-leg trousers and leopard shoes with a rose gold and pearl necklace instead, to actually wear (mostly because the straight-leg pants are a bit tight and this top is not forgiving). this was my favorite photo/look of the week!

Looking at the photo of the trousers now I think I should have tucked and added a black belt...

Jenava, that jacket and those colors on you are BEAUTIFUL! Stunning!

Last one.

I found this one hard, but I really like my mum's outfit.

Wow, MORE fabulous outfits! I think this particular picture brought out a lot of laidback, easy dressing and quieter, elegant colour combinations. PERFECT choice to wind down from the frenetic fun of this week-long challenge.

Natalie, like I said on your own thread, your 'turtles' are absolutely adorably perfect!

Denise, COOLEST interpretation EVAH! My favourite of this round! You're too, too cute.

JJ, your post made me smile too. Also, because you kept at it even though it was getting unduly challenging by this point, surely!

Girl X, stunned speechless by the perfection of your interpretation. Calm, quiet, very uncluttered and minimal --- a lot like the photo --- and perfect colours, *and* THE perfect necklace. I was *dreaming* of something like that as soon as I saw the inspiration image.

Vicki, I chortled with joy at your turtleneck! And pre-YLF or not, that's a beauty of a skirt.

Amy, so clever to focus on the most doable part of the palette for you! Beats tearing hair over what could *possibly* pick up that mauve/sage/brown/apricot... and voila! you look all cool and unruffled and as unhurried as any tortoise! (That's meant as a compliment, however clumsily put --- I thought your calm, collected get-up belied the rush of the day, and reflected the slow diurnal rhythm of the reptiles, which is very relaxing and invigorating at the same time.)

Jenava, these are so obviously YOUR colours! No wonder it's your favourite. Absolutely makes you glow and adds extra sparkle to your eyes.

Maora, I think you have the subtle grey patterns of the photograph beautifully interpreted in your outfit, and L'Abeille, I love how you picked up the rugged side of the image in your vest and the patterned 'texture' of the scarf.

Finally...

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bella! It was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Vicki I love your pedicure. Jenava and GirlX, you two are so chic, may I put you on a pedestal?

I am sorry to be so late to this challenge. The truth is I didn't leave my apartment all day, so I only wore this outfit today (Saturday).
Now, on to the outfit. As soon as I saw this picture, I knew that I wanted to wear my bib necklace (gifted by Denise, thank you Denise!). When I picked up the necklace though, I didn't really see much association between it and the picture. My memory must have played a trick on me. In any case, I went with my original instinct and completed the outfit with neutral colors. I am also wearing a jacket, but my batter died before I could snap another picture.
I will post a keepsake thread for this challenge tomorrow. For now, thanks for playing along!

Thanks for organizing, bella, the challenges are always so much fun! I love the bib necklace. Looks great with that blouse and those jeans are beautiful...nice dark wash and fit you very well.

I just wanted to say that I truly enjoyed each and every interpretation. What a creative bunch. Thank you Bella for putting this together.

Lovely outfits ladies! I very much enjoyed seeing this serene color palette and mood echoed in all of the outfits for today. Kari I LOVE the chambray shirt layered under the eggplant B44 dress, Ornella this is such a beautiful elegant outfit and I think one of my favorites of yours now, and GirlX I STILL want all of your shoes :} Manidipa and Bella I very much enjoyed reading and appreciated receiving your thorough comments throughout the week (and everyone else too!). Thank you!

This was so much fun and there is a ton of inspiration to be had looking through everyone's photos. Thanks for organizing again, Bella! AWESOME job and high fives all around for this challenge!

Here's my outfit for today! Info on inspiration is over on my separate post for this outfit, found here.

Aida, one of my favourite-est outfits ever! Love the necklace and how you posed your hands and the scarf collar you gave yourself! That's all I'm going to say today
