I didn't get a single prezzie.
It's a veritable sackful!
My Santa is not only generous, but attentive and thoughtful and humorous and possibly a secret detective. There is too much serendipity and nostalgia to make sense of any other way.
Hey, Beth Ann, I can now bet you Santa is a girl.
So... TWO packages. Sebt separately. I opened the second one first. Origin: India. How did my elf know I was pining for a paperback and books on child psychology especially? Little M 'petted' the cover thoroughly in approval.
Package 1 from Deutschland had a sender's address that's most intriguing (my SO was thoroughly puzzled by both parcels). Inside were baby clothes that aren't pink or blue and will go with everything! And three pairs of long socks! Which were stuffed! With tea and tisane and Nivea and nostalgia. How did Santa know I would find tall boots this winter and be short of socks? Or my tea and herb preferences? Or my weakness for bath products? How could she know I would browse YLF archives for Angie's hand cream post last week when the package arrived last month? Did she know Ma dabbed Nivea on baby me?? And she remembers my outfit posts from an older challenge! Just like Santa never forgets!
The card...such a treasure. With an itemized list of significances. Now that really gives me ideas about her secret identity...
THANK YOU! to say I am overwhelmed would be a sorry understatement. Big (((hug))) before I start sniffling. My feet are toasty and smile-inducing on cold grey concrete today, and my Midwinter will be warm and fragrant because of you.
