I've been eyeing my parcel for over a week and am so excited that I finally got to open it! A big thanks to my YLF Santa! She sent me a very kind card and fabulous jewellery - a turquoise beaded infinity bracelet and very cool globe pendant. The bracelet is lovely and the pendant is the perfect length. Well done, Santa, and thank you so much!

How nice to see all the gifts.

I admit I had almost forgotten today was the day. I needed this. A. Lot. It was a tough weekend in which I was scared to death as my son fainted at a school Holiday Singalong and we took the ambulance to the ER. Luckily there were amazing health professionals helping us and in the end it was dehydration. Phew. Big sigh of relief.

So on to my Secret Santa whom I am so grateful for. I snapped the wrapped card and gifts first in my tree (near my favorite Hula Pig ornament) and then the reveal with my (yes it's MINE - the kids have their own Lego ones) Playmobil Advent calendar. Santa brought me exactly what I've been needing in gold hoop earrings and a reusable shopping bag (I carry these everywhere and needed to replace the Sesame Street ones I've been carrying since my kids were little) Thank you dear Canadian (postage gave that much away) Secret Santa. This made my day- earrings will go on tomorrow and bag is already in my purse!

This is so much fun. What a fabulous group!

Thank you so much to my super fab Canadian SS. She is too clever for words

I received a beautiful card, with lovely thoughts that are like a warm hug from a friend. Then maple syrup, a beautiful lipstick & lots of sample sized skin care goodies, that I haven't tried before. They are perfect for my travel bag

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

A box from my fave online shopping site Shopbop was almost too much to resist! But I didn't recall ordering anything with gift wrap so under the tree it went. Inside was a fab book called, what else but "Shop your closet"! I am so looking forward to diving into this over the holidays. I promise to share a review with the forum. Thank you my thoughtful and clever SS.

Thank you to my secret santa! I love my gifts. The Swiss chocolate is already gone!! The giant graphic black and white scarf is right up my alley. I can't wait to wear it! It will go with everything. I haven't figured out who it was from but I can see that it was sent from somewhere very far away! Thank you to my YLF secret santa! This is so much fun!

I love seeing what everyone else got! We definitely have some great Secret Santa's here.

I'm so thrilled with what my Secret Santa sent. And I'm very glad it got here when it did because it was hard to wait until today to open it. How my Secret Santa knew I was developing a magpie gene I'll never know, but it's perfect. It's a cute little sparkly pouch and a matching necklace and bracelet set! I can't wait to work it into my outfit tomorrow.

Oh my goodness - what a treat for the eyes seeing all of your wonderful and thoughtful gifts. YLF is a truly magical place full of caring, giving and beautiful human beings. I feel so lucky to be part of it

My wonderful gift came all the way from Brooklyn, New York. My son's comment when he saw the return address? "Whoa…cool" - lol! Now of course I have to try and remember who is from New York...

My Secret Santa sent me a trio of not only fashionable but warm socks - perfect for our frigid winters and my piggy toes will be so happy to be bathed in animal print or zebra print.

There is also this fantastic little "emergency kit" (in an animal print package of course!) that contains everything from wipes to thread to deodorant - you name it, it's got it. All in something I can pop into my purse or my desk drawer.

Thank you Secret Santa for your thoughtful gifts - very much appreciated

I have been sitting at work all day watching everyone open their gifts and now I'm finally home! My Secret Santa gift has been waiting patiently on the table, even though I know my husband and son have both given it the shakes!

My Secret Santa got me a beautiful black scarf -- I have this scarf in every color under the rainbow...except a neutral! This actually goes sooo much better with today's outfit than my green and citron plaid scarf!

There was also a massive chocolate bar (yum! Too good to share!), and my favorite nail color (Lincoln Park After Dark from OPI). I may be the very last person still wearing dark polish long after the trend is gone, and I'm ok with it!

Thank you Secret Santa for everything, I'm eating chocolate and painting my badly chipped nails tonight in your honor!

I am loving seeing everyone's presents!

I have been waiting impatiently all day to come home and open my gift! It shipped directly from Calvin Klein so I have no idea who my secret santa might be! Inside the box was a fabulous snake print belt in a gorgeous deep red color! I had asked on Elfster for Large size belts that I could wear with my low-slung BF jeans, and this will be just perfect! Thank you so much, Santa! =) =) =)

My Santa totally nailed it. I am in love with my bracelet and the socks are awesome. My gift was beautifully packaged too. Thank you Santa!

(And also no worries, I am the easiest person in the world to give to).

Thank you so much for organizing Ornella. I'm off to oogle the beauties everyone got.

My feet will never be cold in the cutest socks showcasing a saying we should all live by, "you're beautiful, don't change."!

And I also received a bold and glamorous silver and turquoise cuff, sure to be the perfect accent to an outfit

This is so much fun seeing what everyone received.

My Secret Santa knew exactly what I needed. I received a lovely red wallet & chocolate (who doesn't need that?). I know my package came from Texas, but don't know/can't remember who lives there.

Thx so much, sweet SS.

Thank you to my wonderful Secret Santa for the beautiful earrings. They were purchased and sent direct from the Etsy seller so I have no idea who my SS is:) I apologise for not taking a photo of the package, but here are the gorgeous earrings. I was in a hurry this morning (last day of school term) so I am sorry I haven't taken a pic of them on me, but I promise to do so soon. xxx

All I know is my sender is from Chicago.
I got a FIERCE bracelet and really nice chevron patterned scarf. I think the scarf will go well with my caramel moto.
I love it. Though I think the sender was nervous, because they also included the gift receipts. I don't even know where the nearest Kohl's is in the area.

I opened the mailer a few days after the package arrived, but only unwrapped the present and opened the card today. My YLF Santa sent me lovely pearl drop earrings, just like I had asked for! Thank you, Santa! I guess I've been good My YLF Santa is from Washington state, but I'm not sure I know who it is.

Edited to add: this has been a very fun thread to read!

To my secret santa, thank you so much for the hand cream and rosebud salve which will definitely come in handy this cold winter. And the topping on the cake: the cute "french" earrings to go with my beret. Love them all.

I have been walking past my package for weeks, and we kept looking at each other! Then, finally, today is the day we got to meet! My YLF Secret Santa really delivered and knows her elf business!

Thank you so much, my sweet elf, for your wonderful note and your perfect gift. Here is the photo of my new Nine West black belt, which I'll wear tomorrow and post. This is a smooth, clean and streamlined belt that I will enjoy immensely. I don't know who you are at the moment, but I want to thank you and Amazon for your amazing holiday secrecy and great delivery.

Hugs to you, wherever you are.

My package arrived weeks ago and it was so tempting but I waited. My sweet Santa sent me such great presents! A terrific trio for my lips- 2 pretty tinted balms and a sugar scrub that will be perfect for winter dry lips.

I also got 2 yummy chocolate bars! I'm not sharing:) And the most adorable card. My Santa must know that I love babies

But wait, there's more! A separate card came today with a gift card for Starbucks. When I get to enjoy a latte or hot chocolate, I will be reminded of my lovely Santa and the very special YLF community.

I think I know who my Santa is but I will wait for the reveal!

I have to keep logging on to see all the fun gifts!

My package arrived weeks ago, and has been sitting on my dresser waiting patiently. The post mistress in my town of 249 people felt it necessary to confirm that this package was really meant for my PO Box, since it was addressed to "CocoLion Denise." There are two Denises in my town, so she had a point.

I am delighted with the set of stud earrings my Secret Santa sent me! It's just what I wanted (and listed on Elfster, thanks for listening!), and my Santa seems to know me very well as I love jewelry designs by Lucky Brand. Also included was a tube of "Butter Gloss" in the color "Tiramisu." Finally there were 3 See's Candies Caramel sticks!!! I think my Santa wanted to whet my appetite. I am enjoying the Pumpkin Pop as I type this.

Thank you Secret Santa!
Denise

ETA -- And I have a few guesses as to who my Santa could be, but that's the extent of it, I'm fairly stumped.

Ok why didn't I participate? *Kicking myself*

You guys are all so happy. This is a beautiful thread Have fun girls!

I didn't get a single prezzie.

It's a veritable sackful!

My Santa is not only generous, but attentive and thoughtful and humorous and possibly a secret detective. There is too much serendipity and nostalgia to make sense of any other way.

Hey, Beth Ann, I can now bet you Santa is a girl.

So... TWO packages. Sebt separately. I opened the second one first. Origin: India. How did my elf know I was pining for a paperback and books on child psychology especially? Little M 'petted' the cover thoroughly in approval.

Package 1 from Deutschland had a sender's address that's most intriguing (my SO was thoroughly puzzled by both parcels). Inside were baby clothes that aren't pink or blue and will go with everything! And three pairs of long socks! Which were stuffed! With tea and tisane and Nivea and nostalgia. How did Santa know I would find tall boots this winter and be short of socks? Or my tea and herb preferences? Or my weakness for bath products? How could she know I would browse YLF archives for Angie's hand cream post last week when the package arrived last month? Did she know Ma dabbed Nivea on baby me?? And she remembers my outfit posts from an older challenge! Just like Santa never forgets!

The card...such a treasure. With an itemized list of significances. Now that really gives me ideas about her secret identity...

THANK YOU! to say I am overwhelmed would be a sorry understatement. Big (((hug))) before I start sniffling. My feet are toasty and smile-inducing on cold grey concrete today, and my Midwinter will be warm and fragrant because of you.

Also, Ornella, we need to crown you Queen Elf of the North Pole. Or something.

This thread is bee-yoo-tee-ful! And not just for the winter warmers, soul soothers, great gift wrappings, personalized accessories and sweet treats here. I hear so many smiles...

Ohhh yes. Ornella needs a tiara and sceptre - ultimate accessorising!

Thank you so much Ornella for organizing! This is one of my favorite parts about YLF--being part of a community of thoughtful and generous friends. I love seeing all the wonderful gifts that everyone got!

I had to wait until I got home from work and the kids and DH went to bed so I could upload my pics! My Secret Santa revealed her identity in her card, and I feel so lucky! She totally nailed her gift, because we are style sisters--she knew that whatever she liked I'd love too!

I got a lovely handwritten card, and a delicate, pretty silver flower cuff. I can't wait to wear it--it's beautiful! Thanks so much Secret Santa Style Sister for your wonderful gift--so perfect! (And by the way, I love the matchy matchy floral card to go with the bracelet!)

My secret Santa knew what I needed: a pretty clutch to carry at holiday gatherings! She sent me a great Betsy Johnson clutch with a gold colored base covered with black lace and adorned with a bow. Love it so much! Thank you, Santa!

I'm so sorry that I can't post a picture! We had our power go out yesterday because of ice and below zero temps, so no lights for photo taking and no internet. I will post one when I get home on WED or THUR.

I love love love my gift. I had put a hat on my wishlist as an idea and never expected to get it! My secret santa was very generous. The hat is perfect, I desperately needed a new one, so soft--- and my very first cashmere! So soft and warm.
