I was MaryK's SS and she guessed correctly. I am not sure how she did it though. When she gets back, I hope to find out. I still do not know who my Secret Santa is.

Thank you so much to Ornella for organizing and coordinating this exchange so well!

This was great fun and all seeing all of the gifts and some of the thoughts that went into the giving was a cool way to "get to know" some of the YLF forum members.

I was Laurie's Secret Santa and she gave me some hints via Elfster. She and I are actually scarf twins now because when I saw she liked blue, I thought she might enjoy the same one I had recently gotten for myself. And I hope she enjoyed the chocolate too; it came from the gift shop at the Heifer organization.

I love the candle I received from my SS. I'll let her share here!

I was Tracina's secret santa,

Sona, you did an amazing job! I love my necklaces!

GirlX, I was your Santa! I am SOOO happy that you like the gifts And especially glad that the polish didn't explode getting to you; I had lots of fun trying to come up with a blend that seemed "you" and am pumped that you picked up on the cosmic vibe (it's totally what I was going for, and I liked it so much that I made a variation for myself!). The tea is my favorite local blend, hope you enjoy it. I like it with a good dose of Amaretto :}

bj1111 Thank you for the gorgeous and thoughtful jewelry! I love natural/organic elements in my jewelry and the earrings are just perfect. The necklace is SUCH a fun piece, and I can't wait to wear it right away tomorrow. I'm thinking hard about what message I can write to put into the little clutch <3

I was Shannon's Secret Santa! It has been great seeing you already use one of the scarves in an outfit Shannon!

Dear rholmes27, I was wondering what happened to you as I haven't seen you on-line for a while. I am sorry to hear you have a tough time and I hope the hospital events are now behind you. I am sure SS's gift made return home even more cheerful. Please check in to tell us how you are.

Diana, your signature is all over your gift! Planning to open Etsy shop maybe?? I am serious. Also, I feel inspired to either try to recreate something similar myself or ask my MIL to do it for me, I always try something with her when I go and visit, it is very relaxing and she likes transferring the skill to next generation

deb, I did not tell MaryK you were her Santa although I had access to the information - but I thought that opening the gift was enough of early fun for her I too am curious how she figured it out.

Btw, Ariadne and Jyoti have checked in on other threads to say they have received their gifts, but since both are traveling this thread will probably sink by the time they come back.

I was Kirti's secret santa. It was such fun to shop for her since with her happy avatar and WIW posts I could "see her" in my mind's eye. Plus I got to send a package to France which made me feel very worldly :-).

Debbie was my wonderful SS and I wore the scarf she got me three days straight and am going to wear it again today!

I was Jjsloane's secret santa - Jeanne, I'm a little bummed about Amazon putting my name on the receipt (although I guess it's OK since you did not know who I was :). I hope you liked your gift.

Rita (modgirl), thank you SO much for the gift of fingerless gloves. I love mine so much!

Thank you so much Sunita! The scarf was the perfect gift and I love it, I'm going to take it home with me and wear it with one of the outfits I have planned for the family gatherings. Maybe I'll have a picture to post after Christmas.

I was rholmes27's secret santa, I just hope she has arrived home and is well. I wish you all the best!

Thank you, Kat! I love my gifts. I wore the bracelet yesterday but forgot to take a picture. And I need to trim my fingernails and wear my new polish -- it will be perfect for our tropical getaway next week!

I was Rita's secret Santa! I knew I wanted to get her something dotty, and the umbrella called to me when I saw it on her wish list. I thought I might have given away my identity with my little hint -- the pug sticker on the tissue paper. I hope you enjoy, Rita!

I was Cocolion's (Denise's) Secret Santa and she was mine. I think this happened because I thought I was all squared away on Elfster but I hadn't 'confirmed' or something. So I was counted as late. I had no idea that she was also my Secret Santa until her package arrived. The address was a dead give-away!

Thanks Ornella for making it all work so that I could still participate. It was such fun!

ANNE - whoo hoo! I wasn't sure it was you - thank you, thank you for the beautiful scarves. I am going to love adding them to my outfits!

deb, I was your Secret Santa! Since my gift was from Germany I was thinking it must either be Ornella or Astrid. Thanks, Ornella for the fab gloves! They are completely awesome. (-:

Thanks also for spearheading the SS effort this year. No small feat!

I was Andrea's (RandomThoughts) secret santa. She has such an interesting and eclectic style and a cool wishlist to work with, I had a blast picking out her gift. My hope was to give her something to cheer her up during the long and cold Seattle winter.

Suz, I couldn't wait for this thread so I could hug you in public, haha ((hugs)) I absolutely love my gift, thank you so much!

I was Nadya's Secret Santa and I had so much fun shopping for her.
I wish I knew who mind was!

PS - Ornella, I did not want to hijack this thread, but I posted some notes for how to make the crochet necklace in the OT section.

Nadya! Thank you! I loved all my gifts

I was Suz's secret Santa as I'm sure she guessed. The envelope had so much writing on it in French that I knew she would.

Thanks again for organising this Ornella

I was Susie's Secret Santa and Pil was mine! And Biscuit loved his present as much as I did So much I am SO grateful to be part of this fabulous group! Thanks to Ornella for organizing this yr! I owe a couple of pms, and apologize for not yet answering, but am hoping to have some real time this weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday and New Year!

Jenava, thank you so much for the brooch. I am going to dig out my brooches from the '80s and see what works now. I wore the brooch you gave me the other day and received many compliments

I was Debbie's Secret Santa. So glad you liked the bracelets! They were fun to pick out.

Vani, I -love- my fingerless gloves and have worn them nearly every day. We even had snow yesterday so they were extra helpful! I actually was totally nerdy and layered them over my short leather gloves to keep the wind from blowing up my coat sleeves.

I was the Secret Santa for ... the lovely Sunita! I'm glad you got a kick out of my silliness - I had a lot of fun putting it together for you.

Aida, thank you so much!!! I tried the tea the other day and it's fantastic, and I'm hoping to take the sequined collar out for its first proper outing tomorrow!

And Ornella - thanks again for organising this!

I was citygirldc's Secret Santa and I picked her teal scarf because I just knew the color would look gorgeous on her. The pictures of her opening and trying on the gift proved SS right. Of course, SS always knows best, doesn't she?

Greetings from the Shinkansen (bullet train) somewhere between Hiroshima and Osaka! Ceit, I had fun reading your posts for ideas and I hope you enjoy your gift!

Deb, I used my Nancy Drew detective skills! I google mapped the return address and found it was near a certain city, then searched for the name of that city in the forums. You were the only one of the Elfster participants who had posted (I think in a weather-related thread) that you lived near said city, so I figured it was you! Heh. Not that I'm an over-thinker or anything! I am still stunned and staggered at how fab and perfect the gift package was!!

I miss you all! Will be home Sunday and can't wait to catch up! Trip has been amazing beyond words!

Ornella - a million thanks for helping me participate from afar! XXX OOO

So much fun!
I'm just sad Elfster did not want to play along with me this year. I was in Paris and without 24/7 connection to fix the issue and I had to opt out.
Thanks Ornella for organizing.

Girl X,

Your presents really lifted my spirits through a rough time at work...thank you *so, so* much! I am putting all the gifts in my Christmas stocking or under the tree (except for the chocolates, which I have already enjoyed...mmm!).

And Ornella: Thank you for organizing this gift exchange...it was so much fun getting and giving gifts and guessing who gave whom what!

Happy Holidays to all at YLF!

I just wanted to bump this thread so more people could see/contribute to it.

Happy holidays!

Yes, bump! Santa, are you out there? I would love to thank you personally!
