Adorable, Rae! Aren't you glad you decided to go ahead and get those maroon boots, given our cold wet spring weather?

And Aida! Oy! The rear view is amahzing!! And Krishnidoux, you are so much fun!!!

Kelly, boots are not OTT - to me they just add that little something extra to the extraordinary outfit.

Modgirl - I suggest you lock that jacket if MaryK is in 50 miles radius from you

MaryK, you are such a sport - overnight delivery for this challenge only! I must say, you have every reason to be pleased because your outfit is spot-on painting. And I'm glad the shamrock scarf has another purpose now.

Aida - yum! The scarf is gorgeous (I actually donated one in similar colors last year...)

krishnidoux, thank you for sharing your thoughts about the painting. What a delightful read - and the outfit too. All 3 versions of it.

Rae - gorgeous, you can do no wrong.

Night-night ladies, it's Day 4 already in my neck of woods, I'm off to get my beauty sleep and prepare for tomorrow's challenge.

I am truly enjoying seeing everyone's outfits. You are a bunch of super clever, imaginative and stylish ladies. Thank you so much for playing along!

OK! Here is mine! Got off on time today, so I'm not SUPER late like I was to the last one...

I wanted to wear this with a white ribbed tank and my new yellow patent pointy-toe kitten heels, but they were still en route today. So I went with black pumps (which are a little too tall for these pants. Sorry. *duck*)

Instead, I wore a pale yellow tee (homage to the yellow triangle of hair in the picture), dark blue high-waist flare-leg jeans, a pale green cropped jacket, and a wide dark brown woven belt with gold buckle.

I wanted to incorporate more white and some grey and orange, but couldn't quite figure how.

I'm off to look at everyone else's now!

What great photos! I love the fashion interpretations - there are some very creative women here!

mumtojessandlu, you are a dead ringer for Picasso's mistress! LOL

And your little sidekick is just adorable!!

Here's mine, I admit I didn't wear this today, I threw it together just for this challenge. But I may wear this some other time. It is far too cold to wear sandals today!

I wore the Karen Kane blouse because of Michelle's blog today. And I *tried* to tie my silk scarf correctly after Angie's blog, but it's a little funky.

Shown without the jacket and with it. Due to the un-adorned, modern nature of the painting, I went accessory free with this look.

Great look. The color of the scarf really works with the printed blue tunic! Sorry it wasn't warm for you, though. Boo.

This challenge just keeps getting better and better! Fab-tastic job everyone!

mm Thanks MaryK Not sure if that is a good thing, or bad. My sidekick always likes getting in the photo, and I'd totally agree she is adorable. She is also at the stage of wanting to dress herself, so she wanted her leggins with the rip today! LOL. And her broken skirt...

Ok, I finally had a chance to take a picture (the guy had friends over, and I wasn't about to snap one with all of them around)! Like Bella, I was inspired by the bottom portion of the painting, specifically the plate with the fruit (apples?) on it. The yellow necklace helped, but I still felt crazy for wearing black and gray on such a warm day!

Oh, Kate, so cute! I love that skirt!

It's finally warm here (first 70 deg all year is supposed to be tomorrow!), and I'm struggling with tomorrow's look since the picture has so many elements. I might skip tomorrow's challenge and go with sandals, white jeans and sequin tank!

Personally I'm loving being inspired in this way
And since it is really cold... ok it may only be around 17 degrees Celcius, and quite a few of the colors are very much 'wintery'. I was so uninspired to dress better, and this challenge got me out of my rutt today.
Fridays painting is my ultimate favorite painting ever! I love everything about it.....

Kate! HAHAHA!!!! You look so lovely, but admittedly I was completely distracted by Jack! LOL. Dear Jack, Your mother's leg is NOT a scratching post. Thanks. I love the details on that skirt.
