I'm in! What a great idea! Thanks Laura.

I'm in too! Thanks Laura. Great idea.

I'm going to do this on a baby forum I'm on, Moms, especially relatively new ones, could often use help staying motivated to dress nicely.

I've already spread the YLF love to my family, friends and colleagues - even as far as India - but I can always do more!

This is a great idea, Laura. I talk about YLF, but a link would probably do a lot more good. I'm on it!

I'm in...Holland and Denmark should be online soon

I've already done this with several friends, but I'm going to tweet this tonight when I get home.

This thread just got added to my favourites list.

I am so, SO pleased to hear that you (the people who responded on this thread) are not embarrassed about sharing and spreading the YLF word with others. You can imagine how it makes Greg and I feel when this is not the case. We believe that YLF is something to be very proud of - which is why we pour our heart and soul into it. Thank you for doing the same

Now I have to pack for NYFW.

Angie you have much to be proud of!

I'll certainly send out some recommendations!

I've recommended it to family and friends, and even linked to some specific threads in the past. (However, I'm kind of curious how deeply any of them delved into the forum as I haven't yet received any comments about my "online persona" from friends who know me only in real life.)

I've shared with a number of friends, but as Kari said, I haven't seen them turn up in the forums, so I don't know if they delved that deeply. I know that one of my friends printed off all of the pretty pear recommendations, though. I definitely spread the word whenever I get a chance because this is by far the nicest online community I've been a part of.

My facebook status currently reads:
Fashion keeners in quest of a fabulous style resource must check this site out at once! Newly renovated and better than ever!
http://www.youlookfab.com/

More word-spreading via email will ensue.

Here's what I wrote:

Hi girls,

One of my favourite fashion/style websites, http://www.youlookfab.com, just relaunched their website today and it's fabulous. I know not everyone is into "fashion" as such but this site is excellent if you're wondering how to develop your own personal style, make the most of your figure and dress yourself easily so you look and feel fabulous, or if you just want to find some basic advice on dressing for any occasion.

One of the best things about it is how it caters to ALL women, not just a particular set (i.e. 18-25 tall, slim model type girls with lots of disposable income, or teenyboppers).

I thoroughly recommend you check it out.

Some features:

* Daily blog from Angie Cox, a fantastic stylist and image consultant based in Seattle. She posts on topics such as accessories, outfit "forumlas" for ideas on how to use clothes you already have in your closet, latest trends, how to wear items like cardigans, jeans etc. in different ways, how to dress business casual, and a LOT more. Some posts:
o Messy scarf for summer - casual or dressy ways
o What you wear when you're feeling blue
o Autumn "mum on the go" outfit formula (great casual ideas for anyone though!)
* You Look Fab Forum People post on style/fashion topics, ask Angie specific questions, ask forum members for input on outfits and where to get different items, and post pics of their daily outfits. There's women from all over the world and the community vibe is really excellent and quite unusual for such a global site. Very supportive and encouraging for everyone.

I love this site and have had a lot of fun with it. I hope you will too! Even if you're not really into fashion I suggest you have a look, you might find something useful

Love Tara xoxo

Tara, what a great email! With your permission I may just steal it wholesale from you because you summed up all the points I rave about so nicely. I've told a bunch of my friends about YLF but I will definitely join in the Facebook status update, and will try to spread the word more. I really doubt there's anywhere else like this on the web.

And Laura, bless you for starting this thread!

Hey Quail, go ahead and take it! Lol, the YLF Marketing Machine kicks into full gear!

Thank you ladies, for responding so enthusiastically to this thread. It would be great if YLF could get a big boost with the launch of the redesign, and word of mouth is a powerful way to get the word out.

Lots of "boosts" today!!
