Oh, this is killing me! I'm going to be passing through Chicago that day, with a connecting flight to somewhere else in the late afternoon. Wondering if I would be able to change to an early morning flight to Chicago, join in the fun, and still catch my late afternoon flight onward. Hmm....

I would take the El from the airport to downtown, so traffic shouldn't be an issue.
Getting on the earlier flight is the unknown. We'll see!

Oh, I just saw this topic! I have been very busy at work lately. I would LOVE to come and taking Amtrak into the city would be a blast, BUT I'm stuck at work that day in final prep for the March 20 Illinois primary! I hope you all have a fantastic time and make a full report when it's over!
