Lovely! Lots of different blues and I especially love how delicate strap and shoes are. I must try this some day (minus the cute pup)

Brilliantly done - a perfect interpretation and you look great!

I loved this challenge idea! Great outfit!

Sensational outfit! I love the red shoes.

Oh, I get it! She used the colors from the book page as the inspiration. (It takes me a while to catch on...)

You look great, Deb! The colors go well together, and the red adds just the right amount of pizzazz.

Deb -- too funny that you got a page with no advice, no outfit suggestions, no dressing guidelines of any kind! LOL I love that you chose to go with that one and just riff off the colors. Well done!

The reds with the blue are like that touch of salt in desserts that makes the sweetness stand out.

Congratulations on being the first participant to complete a challenge in our massive Challenge Chain 2014. I just went to the random number generator and kicked out the next number to find out who gets the next challenge: it came up #53, which is leopardluxe.

So deb, whenever you're ready, it's now your turn to start a challenge thread and pose a challenge to our next participant. I'll PM leopardluxe and give her a heads up that she's next...

Well done! Love the pops of red.

Red and blue, lovely paired together. And a nice color combination for spring too, I often see red, blue and whites in spring looks. Nice job!

A great challenge and excellent execution! Well done!

Whoo hoo! Looking good in your blues with red. And Gaia looks beautiful in the photo, too. I love how you just went with the colours.

Can't wait to see what you pose for Leopardluxe.

Very nice interpretation of your inspiration photo.

Deb great way to start this challenge! Love the red additions. April, I cringed at age appropriate page because style us a creative expression and too many people out there make lists for us over 40'S. I recently read one that mentioned no leather jackets...ridiculous!

You did a great job taking the colors from the inspiration page and translating them to your outfit. The red just makes the look!

Great interpretation and execution Deb!

Boy, Deb. I think I would have been totally stumped. Esp. since I don't see blues too good. Well done!

Deb: love those shoes. fab work!

Well done! You look terrific, and I like the way you made the interpretation work for you!

I love the way you turned this into a visually, rather than conceptually, inspired outfit! The glasses and shoes together are perfect, a great match.

(And I never tire of seeing your pup… who is so "gorge")

TL65 -- yes, and today I read the advice of purging all skinny jeans since they're too junior for mature ladies. BWAH HA HA HA.

We must remember that when skinnies came back, many people thought of them as "not for grown-ups." (Myself included -- I was not an early adopter.) The book is from 2009, I think, so maybe not a crazy idea for its time.

Fabulous Deb - love you in blues.

So fun to get a page with just graphics on it! You look fab!

Wow - great look and great interpretation! This is fun!

Beautiful use of blues, Deb! And the red shoes and purse make it all just zing. (Or sing, a la Beth Ann's post yesterday!) Also, your dog's coloring enhances your outfit.

It's fun to see how you interpreted this, and I love the blues with the bits of red! Your adorable dog's head even picks up the profile shots on the page!

Very nice Deb! The blues are great colors on you!

Love you in blue with red accents, Deb. And of course the pup is the best accessory ever!

Fab interpretation. And extra special with heathered grey photo bomber.

Way to go, Deb! I love the colors in your outfit. Blue is one of my favorites. And I love it when your dog sneaks into the pics.

Fantastic challenge and wonderful interpretation.
