Sorry I didn't comment on this earlier - I'd been following the yellow pants saga in the other threads but then went on an impromptu staycation lol. Just wanted to say I'm so glad you kept them - unfortunately I know from personal experience what a HEWI that yellow trousers can be!
I actually had a pair of very similar trousers 4 years back (only difference was the zipped pockets) that I desperately held onto (for the reason stated above) but eventually donated last year because they felt too 'loud' with everything I owned (Like you mentioned on the other thread, I'm also veering towards 'simpler' outfits without too much going on - although solid colours are fine lol).
Looking back at your outfits now though, I think part of my dilemma might have been the lack of neutrals like navy & white that would have worked well with them (like they do for you). No matter though - my current HEWI hunt is now for a pair of similar trousers but in blood orange (like a deep reddish orange tomato). Wish me luck
