Isabel, I am so happy to hear that your treatments are finished and that things are looking good. I have been thinking of you all this time. I know their idea of a cocktail isn't the most fun, but it sure beats the heck out of what you have been up to.

I'm *so* happy to hear this, Isabel -- have been wondering how you were doing.

And now you must definitely come to our next Northeast swap...

That's wonderful!

That is most wonderful news. To many healthy years ahead!

Oh, Isabel! I am SO happy for you! This is wonderful news, I want to go and celebrate too! I'm not sure what your 'cocktail' will involve, but here's to it doing it's job while you continue to recover and be wonderful you! Thank-you so much for all the support and love you've sent my way, and for the light you bring to the forum.

Isabel i am so happy for you! truly a day to celebrate!

it's especially nice of you to write this today, for me. My aunt had a cancerous breast lump removed yesterday - not invasive, she will be starting radiation in September. It's very nice to hear from a lady who has gone through treatment successfully!!

i'm am also glad that science and medicine are focusing on finding out more about the different types of breast cancers, what treatments work best on which cancers and who actually needs the most rough of the treatments.

Thank you for posting and have a great weekend!!!!! (big hug) steph

Yay, indeed, congrats! My mom is a 15+ year survivor. So glad that they have less invasive and more targeted treatments these days.

How fantastic! I truly can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. Thank you for letting us know.

Isabel, wishing much happiness to you that you are through with your final round. That is wonderful! Thank you for the update. I'll keep wishing good thoughts for you.

I am so overwhelmed once again. This thread epitomizes what I was saying ! Thank you.

I don't feel very courageous - I feel so lucky and blessed. And I met soooo many wonderful, compassionate and witty people that I would never would have never enriched my life otherwise. Many of them patients who made what I went through so small in comparison.

MrsE, please let your aunt know that she needs to put herself first and trust that she will deal it with it in a graceful way. A doctor told me early on, " Don't let it lead you, you lead it. Don't lose your spirit to it. " OK, he said it more eloquently....

San - I wish the same to your aunt.

How lucky we are to get a diagnosis that is not an automatic death sentence anymore.

Oh, I should tell you that my best friend is taking Monday morning off of work to see me and we are going to cut up my oncology center ID card !!! I will no longer be a "card carrying " cancer patient.....though next up is AARP : O

This is wonderful news! Congratulations!!!

Wow, that must feel absolutely fantastic! You made it! Here's to enjoying many more years...
