Marianna, I think you're making the right choice. I'm sure it feels good to have a plan and implementing it. Helping renters fnd leases is usually good, quick money.

You probably already know this, but please be on your guard and be careful. When I used to be in real estate, I always felt awkward showing a single guy an empty home or apartment. Let someone know that you're showing to a client and call in every now and then. Pepper spray is not a bad idea either.

It makes sense, if you're getting unemployment, to hold out for something better! The real estate market it's so great, but at least you won't be losing out too much in that first year when you're still working to get listings/buyers. Hoping for the best, Marianna! Having a new direction is invigorating.
