YES! Absolutely YES! First, there are lots of inexpensive options for fun, current maternity clothes that last about as long as your pregnancy and can then be passed along to others. I bought most of my maternity wear from Old Navy and a few heavy use items from the Gap. My maternity wardrobe was small, but well coordinated color and style wise and functioned as a compact capsule. A little went a long way. Second, you have probably gotten a lot wear out of your old maternity wear. Likely more than most of us ever get out of our regular wardrobe. Third, being pregnant is joyful, but hard. Your body changes. You often don't feel yourself. Your body isn't its normal self. It is nice to feel good about it. Having clothes that fit you well and make you feel good about your body is important. Fourth, you will wear your maternity wardrobe for a couple months after the baby is born, so really you are talking more like 9 more months of it.
I loved my maternity wardrobe with my first child. I was shocked when I pulled it out for my second that I didn't love it so much anymore. I picked out a few items that I still enjoyed, then picked up a few new ones to round out my wardrobe and went happily on my way. I even just kept my eyes peeled for anything that came my way that would work for maternity and post-partum and picked those things up if they were inexpensive. A wardrobe refresh doesn't have to be excessive. It will definitely be worthwhile, though.
