a couple of days ago, I saw these pants from Zara in "finds" (an Angie find), and i really liked them. which lead me to look around Zara, were i found this bomber......
the matchy- matchy power suit/ 2 piece dressing girl in me wants to get them and wear them together.....so the question is....

I like the concept but would not wear it personally. I do have a hankering for a classic adidas tracksuit for loungewear and this look has the tracksuit vibe.

I'd consider it. I'm all for a bit of matchy-matchy and this looks like a very nice print.

The problem I have with statement prints from chain stores though is that they're instantly recognisable and I just know somebody would clock it. So if I wanted to do this look, I'd have to make it myself so that it would be unique. In fact, I did something equivalent with a jumpsuit.

YES. I would wear them together. Matchy-matchy is Modern Retro. I am in. I'd shorten the pants though. I have my eye on these pieces too - to wear together.

No. Because as Tim Gunn would say, that's a lot of look. I mean come on - flowers! If they were color blocked, or stripes, I would seriously consider it.

I liked the bomber jacket and thought about buying it. It wouldn't have occurred to me to grab the pants as well, but I wouldn't rule it out. I'd agree with Approprio on being concerned about the print being too recognizable but that depends where you live ... I myself am two hours from the nearest Zara.

I would love each of the two pieces, which I would wear them separately. I just couldn't bring myself to wear them together, no matter how stunning the print.
