just started a couple of days ago. I somehow managed to pull off today's on the second guess, so that has me pumped!

I heard about it when Jimmy Fallon played it on his show. I love word games! I consistently get it on the 4th try. Maybe I need to change up my first word: arise.

I was so excited that I got it in 2 the other day, then today was 6. There's definitely some strategy involved, but a fair amount of luck too I think!

Helena, ita on the mix of strategy & luck!
On this one, I worked my way through the alphabet, but eventually got the whole thing ( “ganze” means whole)

That's a good starting word, AJ -- I have been trying to do something similar -- aiming for a starter word that has a good mix of vowels and common consonants! I might steal arise as my next starter word and see how it works for me.

Ok. I tried it today. Someone on Twitter said today’s word was for me… and it was: I got it in one

Rachy, pardon my language but GTFO ... A hole in one of the first swing??? That's amazing!!!

Rachylou, what was the word?
The German one yesterday took me a while, but look what my little twerp did! I think he often starts with that word.

Hehe, Helena.

It was Sugar, SF

Perhaps weird, but since playing Wordle, I haven't purchased any clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. I think solving the puzzle gives me the substitute "high" from hunting and then scoring a purchase. That's the only explanation I can think of. We'll see when the spring season gets into full swing.

I am so obsessed with Wordle! As an avid reader and writer I feel like it was made for me! lol

I have also discovered Quordle...https://www.quordle.com/#/
Yes, it's Wordle times four. The fun thing is you can do practice sessions.

I have also discovered the "community" link on the hints page of the Spelling Bee. I do the puzzle as long as I can on my own, on and off through the day...then go back later and look at todays hints. Then even later look up the incredibly helpful community suggestions in the comments. That way I learn new words! Or get reminded of my mental blocks !

@BlueJay that's an interesting observation about puzzles and shopping!
