Wool slacks

Can anyone recommend a store where I will be successful at finding a pair of petite-size slacks with pockets and a high percentage of wool? I want them to be dressy and versatile - a core wardrobe item.

Ann Taylor has tropical wool pants with around 85% wool. Some styles have pockets, some don't. Online they are found in the "suiting" section. I'm not sure of the selection in the actual stores, however. Talbot's is another option, although online it doesn't say what the percentage of wool is. Banana Republic has some that are 95% wool, however I don't think they have front pocket, just rear. I have more luck online than in actual stores with petite items, as the stock in the stores is usually not great for petites, at least in my area.

I like the look of wool, but it makes me itch something awful. For me, it helps to know what the percentage of wool is. I would also prefer pants that are lined. I agree that shopping in the petite section is probably not a good idea.

I was thinking Ann Taylor or Banana Republic, I have luck there but for Tall sizes.

Pendleton and Brooks Brothers also carry wool pants, but with very stodgy styling. Pendleton's are lined which is pretty hard to find these days.

I would also recommend Banana Republic, although I'm not sure about the pocket requirement. They have nice wool pants that are lined and well made, at least that's been my experience. I am 5'3" and their regular size is about 1.5" too long ( I hem to wear with heels). I just got the straight leg Logan fit and I don't think I'll hem them at all, some scrunch is nice:-) Hope this helps.
