WIW to NAS - YouLookFab Forum

Hi beauties! It's been ages and ages since I've posted but I do read regularly. You are all looking fab as always! The last year has been crazy as we oversaw the construction of our new house - what an experience... So glad it's over! We moved into the house in February and lately my attention has been diverted away from fashion and to home furnishings and decor. I still haven't found a great spot for taking WIW photos, which is part of the reason I haven't posted much.

Today is my NAS appointment and I'm lucky enough to be shopping with Angie! Thought I'd post a quick WIW. Eileen Fisher white linen sweater, white cami, Bobeau black and white midi, Franco Sarto black cage sandals and cognac crossbody bag. The sandals are pretty comfy and I'm hoping they'll be good for a few hours of shopping. Almost wore my silver birks, but wearing a heel is good for shopping for work clothes. I hope to post some finds later. Comments/suggestions for improvements are always welcome. Cheers!

Great outfit, shopping or no! I'm sure I looked like a hot mess yesterday at my appointment as it was so hot, including in the dressing rooms, and I had worn white linen pants all day at work! Enjoy and post if you can.

Thanks everyone! I have missed being a more active participant of the forum! Shopping with Angie is such fun - her energy (even after an exhausting schedule), sharp eye, graciousness and warmth are incomparable and invaluable. We shopped for about 3 1/2 hours - gosh, maybe even 4 - and it was go, go, go the entire time. I'll put together a post of all my finds later, but it was a very successful shopping trip. Except that a new suit eluded me - that's still on my list.

Kari, we are getting a Vizsla puppy! He will be 9 weeks old when he comes home with us next week. It would be very fun to meet up with you and Lucy once Gunnar is fully immunized!

Oh my goodness, Gunnar is adorable! Enjoy your new puppy. I hope you'll share what the experience has been like. I've only had a small puppy once-with Shadow. Love puppies but know it's not the right time to bring a newborn into our lives. A young adult dog was just the ticket for us.

Love your outfit, the Birks would have worked but the heeled sandals are more polished. You might have chosen too many casual things not work clothing as the Birks would have put you in a different mind set.

Your Vizsla Gunnar is beyond adorable, and what a perfectly fit and handsome pop he has. There is nothing like the bond of meeting your puppy and puppy's parents young, and bringing them home young too.

It is so nice to see you back Christy. Your shopping trip sounds like it was both fun and successful.

I know exactly what you mean about building a house. I hit my one year anniversary in mid-June and haven't been much of a participant on YLF since we moved. First it was decor and then yardwork but we are almost finished.

I hope you will be posting regularly again. I always find your office clothes to be inspiring.

Great shopping outfit and a smart move to wear heels for work clothes shopping. I've learned to keep boots in my car when shopping NAS this way if I find a pair of bottoms that need hemming I can get the measurements done the same day.
