We met friends for a casual dockside breakfast yesterday before a day of yard work. I wore a dress I have come to love altho not the most flattering because of my thick middle. It's a shirt dress from anthro, two years old, and a great graphic print. It's poly, which makes it really lightweight but also a tough choice if really humid, for a breezy summer morning there is nothing better. I tend to tie the waistband very loosely so it's almost a shift. It's a little longer in the back so has a nice drape. It's been a total workhorse and I adore the print.

I've been having a really hard time finding fashionable casual summer shoes that I love and want to spend money on .. so I'm wearing some old ones from my closet - easy low heels by a brand called Art; the heels are made of recycled rubber I think. They are very comfortable and they will work for now. They're the first heels I could wear after breaking my ankle two years ago and I haven't gotten rid of them. Guess there is a reason they're still around!
