K, Aida, Firecracker, Celeste, Suz--I drive myself crazy! I am naturally indecisive which is why I try to help myself out by picking the outfit the night before. But then the next morning it's "I like this outfit but I think it's better for Friday when I have that meeting" or "It's cloudy out and this is a sunny outfit" or the shoes, the cardi, or I'm known to spend 20 minutes deciding on which invisible earrings or insignificant pendant will finish off the outfit just perfectly. And then I'm behind! Glad you understand!
Ladywone, you are amazing in so many ways. Change three times a day! Did you ever read Anna Karenina where she visits wealthy people in the country and, intimidated by her hostess' amazing gown, she puts on her very best dress, only to realize that that was the first of about five clothing changes in the day, and each of her hostess' gowns is more sumptuous than the last! But I digress. I think you can handle a lot more sensory input than I can. Thrift stores are fun for you while for me they're instantly overwhelming. I strive for a simple, pared down style because that's all I can handle managing and looking at. But you are maximal! And so joyful while you're at it, my hat's off to you! (And thanks for saying my outfits are complex, that makes me oddly happy!)
Angie and Gracie--we agree that #4 was a good way to wear this slightly different cardigan! I will remember that. I've found it hard to style so I'm glad to have this little solution in my back pocket. And yes, Gracie, I was warm enough!
Shevia, isn't it odd? I wasn't looking for a signature shoe. It found me! I'm going to go with it! Sometimes I want to give some of my summer sandals some love but they never look as good!
