The wedding went really well. I was nervous beyond belief the days leading up to Sunday, but the moment I walked into the venue and saw that they had set it up to my specifications, I calmed down.

It was a small, untraditional wedding with 41 people, no veil, no bridal party, no dance floor, etc etc etc, but it was exactly what I wanted -- a really nice intimate dinner party with REALLY good food. Everyone raved about the food which made me so happy!

My dress turned out well in the end and I just hope it photographs well! I wore the ivory Ivanka Trump flats that I had posted about earlier and they were great. They were hardly visible under my dress but I liked the bit of sparkle that peeked through when I walked! I had my hair and makeup done professionally, and I wasn't wowed but it was okay.

I will definitely share pictures when I have some! I cannot wait to see them as well!

We are not taking a honeymoon right away but will probably go somewhere in a few months!

Sveta, I wonder if the shoes are the ones you returned! They were sold out in our size forever and then one day a pair finally appeared and I snatched them up!

Cciele, They are comfy for me, except that I'm not used to the height and the balls of my feet were burning like crazy 5 hours in! I really hope I just have to break them in... and get used to baby heels.

PS Your wedding sounds a lot like ours -- we held ours under a tent in our backyard garden, and the food was a highlight, as well as the fact that we served cocktails before the ceremony. I was amazed how many people loved that!

That sounds like my kind of wedding. I have been engaged forever.... We are such low key people really, I think we just need really good food and a quaint venue. I found this farm / restaurant in weschester county that I'm still obsessed about. Your wedding is definitely my kind of wedding.

Thanks Zap and Janet! I was soooo nervous about it because there was really no structure to my wedding, but it was perfect! We had the wedding ceremony in the foyer, and then straight into the restaurant for a long, luxurious, multi-course meal. Perfection.

I didn't want a dance floor or any of that. Totally not for me. I'm very low-key and not the "party" type so this sort of wedding was just right. Highly recommended!

I love it - the slimmer leg is right on a crop pant I think. And the hells are perfect! I have those in solid black and think they are just about right heel height for work. Any heel is hard for a full retail shift - I don't know how anyone does it.
