Lyn67 thanks, and GREAT point about how investing in things that work well and work together really pays off in the long run. It's the FFBO thing Angie talks about.
Sorry to hear you had such a difficult winter. You were missed!
Your “comfort food” outfits are wonderful. It is so nice to have fast fall back items in the closet, isn’t it? I haven’t had anywhere to go for over a year but continue to wear my clothes, but in simpler combinations. Wishing you continued healing.
Chris sorry to hear that the last 6 months have been so tough. Light blue is stunning on you, I love that moto and I am really happy to see it return to retail.
Chris, that first outfit is GORGEOUS. Those cool pastels are stunning on you. ❤️ I love outfit #2 as well! The denim jacket with that scarf is great and I really like the boots.
I’m sorry you’ve had such a rough winter! Here’s hoping that spring brings better things. Despite the fact that it’s currently 30F here again, I was heartened this week to see that things have started blooming in earnest.
Chris, so sorry to hear about the rough patch you’ve been going thru, but so glad that you’ve been able to find some help. And yay for the vaccines. Glad that you posted, i love a good comfort food outfit -and these are excellent, i can see why/how these are high on comfort. I love the light blue and grey, spring like but still appropriate for colder weather, and the lighter color pointed toe booties and scarf #2 help lift that outfit from kraft mac’n cheese territory, to homemade
Bijou I bought this blue moto jacket almost 3 years ago - not sure this color has "returned to retail' since then.
Diana - yep this time of year is still very cool in our neck of the woods, but things are definitely blooming!
kkards those refs to mac&cheese are FUNNY! I love M&C but don't eat it often because it's a carb/fat bomb - but I guess that explains why it's comfort food for so many.
I love, LOVE, the sky blue moto. So pretty and fresh. This winter did feel really long, and it's frustrating to be heading back into spring with so many restrictions still in place. Yay for vaccines and sunnier days, and for clothes that provide soothing simplicity.
Chris, I am sorry to hear how rough this past winter has been. Chronic pain and illness take a toll on a person. It is good to see you here. Your outfits are both lovely. I especially like the first one. I might have to steal the term "comfort food" outfits.
I’m so sorry to learn what a tough time you’ve had the last few months. Chronic pain + lockdown + winter = perfect storm. My husband suffered from chronic nerve pain for many years, and he mentioned early on in lockdown how grateful he was he had not been confined to home during that period. So kudos to you for seeking help, and for “keeping on keeping on” in difficult circumstances!
It’s wonderful to see you looking so well! You positively glow in the soft colors of that first outfit! The second is quite nice, too - I especially like the brown boots with the black and blue.
