WIW: is this jacket working?

I've been under the weather with a sinus infection and getting dressed is such a struggle! But I just had to pull myself together today. This is the first outing for a new jacket from the Loft, a surprising find in winter white - I don't usually even go into that store. What do you think? Does it work? Is the shape okay? Any suggestions? I'm trying to incorporate more jackets so need to figure out how to wear them.

Actual Thistle, I went into the Loft while waiting for my laptop to be repaired at the Apple store. I usually avoid the store because every woman in my town shops there - it is one of our few local choices - and I hate to look like everyone. But it is right next to Apple in the mall I was at, so I have it a try and found a couple of tees on sale and this jacket, which I thought was worth the try.
