Well, Fall is here the northeast and the week after my birthday flew by. I am gradually incorprating heavier knits and layers. Most of it is typically kind of dark, but I’m working in some slightly earthier colors over time. Temps are anywhere from 45-60 during the day.
1. Fairly casual work ourfit with the turquoise jeans Angie wanted to see on me. The lighting kinda stinks, but they are turquoise/teal.
2. Fall sweater outfit. Pretty typical of what I wore during the past year.
3. This knit top has OLIVE stripes, and I paired with olive jeans and my brown Born boots. This is very fresh for me because I’m not an earth tone person, but I’ve been adding in olive and cream/ivory as my earthier neutrals. I like brown for shoes and bags more than clothes. Ditto tan/beige.
4-5 - Casual outfits with my leather jacket
6 - one of my favorite sweaters. A little preppy for my current style but I do continue to love a fun print.
7. Trying to make sure I wear my blazers.
8. Birthday outfit with a cameo from my husband! We were going to dinner and to see a live showing of Mystery Science Theatre 300. ETA" This Hinge dress from Nordy's is in the Finds; I can be either a L or M in dresses, depending on things like tightness on the hips. I had to size down to M.
9. I posted this elsewhere - my “midlife crisis” outfit. A little harder edge than my usual style and represents an evolution of my no -work style
