Welcome to Denim Day! That's exactly what we do at our hospital too - we have to donate $2 each Friday to charity for the privilege of wearing jeans. I think it's a great idea.

BJ: I'm one of those modern docs who never wears a lab coat. and the lab coats have to be super long below knees. My patients and I prefer it this way. It helps abolish the " I am the authority" aspect of it and puts us both on the same footing.

so easy, breezy and yet sooooooooooooo many compliments at work. Thank you YLF and Angie for amping up not just my style but my ability to envision it the night before- without even trying it on!! I still have some misses when I wear the outfit that was in my head last night in the morning but they are getting few and far in between!!! And I realized right away that I would accessorize with signature big hoops, nude pumps.I cannot believe I did the masculine- feminine juxtaposition without even realizing it.

This is so snazzy I am thoroughly plonked. I feel the influence of the 70s and 80s too, just like Angie said. The 70s influence is the lady-in-the-workplace style and big hoops, and the 80s is kind of a "Moonlighting" look with the lovely blazer and pumps. You rock.
