Thanks ladies:)
My assessment is that #1&2 is a little dull and could use something at the neckline to "lift" it a bit and brighten my face.
#3 is fun for me with the boots and IRL the red of the layered necklaces is a bit more obvious.
Angie, hubby really likes the patterned jeans:). Yay. And he does like me in the subdued tones but as you know he is not crazy about the "odd" hemlines...shame because he may be seeing more of them ). Black is definitely the foundation colour for my wardrobe. I'm not planning on wearing all black all the time (tempting as that may be) because now that you have Introduced me to colour, I do like it BUT I need to learn to use colour with my black in a way that feels more like me. So my three personal style goals at this time are:
1.
To integrate "my" colours (red, cobalt, coral' white/cream and navy) with my black in stylings that fit my style descriptor and look and feel like me.
2.
Work on how to "lighten" all black outfits with accessories.
3.
Continue to incorporate ink and navy blue Into my wardrobe.
I am equally happy wearing black or blue and I am loving them worn together.
The exciting thing here is that I am possibly more focussed than ever on where I feel I am heading style wise and am becoming more and more intentional in my choices and less compulsive which often leads to poor choices for me.

Julie John you are funny:). The pattern is a grey/silver on black.
