WIW: another hoodie under a blazer

Hello everyone, I know I have been MIA for a long time and will most likely continue to be, but I might post something here and there. I can certainly use any form of distraction.
Today's outfit was inspired by Angie's blog post yesterday, and the last pin in particular. This merino/cashmere hoodie has been idling unworn for years!

Both you and Suz have pulled this formula off with such style that I think I'm willing to give this a try. I have an Armani blazer sitting in the wardrobe that seldom gets worn because it always feels so dressy but I think this may just be one way to get some wear out of it. I may just give it a try on the weekend.

This also shows that there is something to be said about holding on to items that still have life in them. If you were extremely quick to purge (the one year rule) would you still have the hoodie?

Oooh Tanya, what a treat! Adore this from head to toe, the sneakers add a bit of playful fun and are a fun casual contrast against the luxe hoodie (such a fantastic colour on you, but you knew I would love it, right I think you should wear it more often. The animal print scarf and belt are a great way to add some pattern mixing into the mix. You are a pro at this!

Beth Ann, you are right. The only reason I kept the hoodie is that I moved it to the lounge wear drawer, but I haven't worn it as lounge wear either. Things are sometimes strange that way.
