IK- I echo Deborah. I think you are a very gifted stylist. I really love the whole outfit, in fact I would happily steal the whole thing intact (sans blisters!!) The lace top is so perfect with the white topper and the necklaces are perfect scale length and feel. I love the juxtaposition of texture, graphic, tough/romantic. I do like the dark footwear, as you do with the pants, I think it grounds the look. Totally gorgeous, edgy, flattering, interesting, refined but unfussy. Truly an inspiration!! Thanks!!

I suggested trying lighter footwear because sometimes I think they can tie in the upper part of the outfit with the lower part, instead of having an all white half and an all dark half. I'd have to see it though, to know whether I'd really like it better or not. I'm never good at imagining how shoes will look; I usually end up trying on several pairs in order to decide what works with an outfit. So, feel free to take my suggestion with a grain of salt!

On the other hand, continuing the line of the pants works nicely here, too, if it weren't for the fact the the shoes were hurting your feet.

One of my favorite of yours up to date, I think. Monochromatic (whte with contrast)irregular juxtaposition, crochette style(chuncky looking, not flimsy!) lace, jeans and denim jacket, great fit and a bit of edge to the shoes, I love them all. Very well done!

Yes my reasoning was the same as Parsleys. I prefer in general not to have the top half all light and the bottom all dark, especially if wearing two colours only or an even no of pieces. Now I write this I sound a little strange. On me I would wear light shoes with the two white pieces or add more dark at the top.

Thanks for this, it has just made me realise this preference for odd numbers....

I do like it a lot as it is too.
