WIW 6-12 - Jeans too big, back too bare

So I ask dear hubby if this top is too sexy for work. Nah, says he. Apparently the boys in the office beg to differ. I hope they don't start calling me a cougar again.

Also, I'm not sure the pics show, but these pants now fit utterly weird. The legs are still tight, but the waist is utterly falling off my butt. I am oddly depressed by this. I like being skinnier, but dang, sometimes I wish I had hips.

- Rag and bone silk-blend skinny jeans
- Coclico sandals

I'm not sure where you work but the top is a bit too bare for work. Save it for going out. As for jeans, I have the same problem but apparently a trip to tailor can help you with that problem.

I was just going to suggest that. Wear a tank top and not a cami under that top.

You could alter the jeans at the waist. They still fit well on the thigh.

Nice proportions! They work really well to my eye.

It's called 'body transformation' for a reason, I guess? :-/ Do you think your overall shape might be changing, not just your size? Because I can't say I can see that in your photos. Longer and leaner yes, but the fit weirdness suggests a little more going on... Could targeted exercise solve that, do you suppose?

As for the top, I'm not finding it OTT at all... but for once, I'd rather see less of the cami and let that super-interesting twist in the back waist really be the belle of the ball! Might be *entirely* too much for the boys at work, though!

You could totally wail on your glutes at the gym....

... yeah, I'd choose the tailor, too. FWIW they still look good even if they are falling off. And I think you could wear all kinds of fun tanks under that top - hot pink? blue beetle? ooh, maybe one of your open-knit, net-like pieces?

And wha? Cougar? I hope they're just joshing you. Come to these parts on a Saturday night, and I'll show 'em cougars.

My pants are totally falling off my butt. I just went into the bathroom and hauled them up. My thighs are muscular enough to prevent utter catastrophe, hurrah.

Thinking of dying these sandals black, too. Just not to much call for salmon sandals in my heart.

The top seems a little bare in the back for the office but it is pretty so whatever you need to do to wear it. I wish I could give you some of MY hips!

If only we could rearrange things so easily - I'd have no belly and a non-flat butt. But since we can't really do that, the tailor is our best bet :0
I think a regular tank under the tunic would be best for work too.
