I agree that right now the silhouette you are wearing looks much fresher than skinnies. I have been wearing a lot of flares during winter because I find that my winter boots fit better under it but also don't have to do long walks trough the snow and slush.

That coat is lovely paired with flares! It's funny how everything really does come back around in fashion.
