Winter white is in the air... Edited to add additional styling

Like Amy, I purchased a pair of BR winter white pants - these were part of my Black Friday order. I like the idea of a winter white pant, but I'm still a bit on the fence about them... you'll notice that they haven't been hemmed.
My lifestyle is mostly casual, but I could see wearing them for upcoming holiday gatherings -ones that don't involve a lot of kitchen time.
I am concerned about the footwear, a recently purchased pair of booties (pic 4) did not look right to my eye. So I've tried a colour blocked pair of pumps - pic 3.
Questions for my lovely ladies:
Are the pants a keeper? They feel good on, and I'm sure once I hem them they will look a little tidier.
Of course to hem I need to decide on the footwear. The snakeskin booties sound wonderful - but I would like to make existing footwear work - are the pumps ok?
How about belt width? I'm thinking I need a wider belt in pic 1 - but maybe I can get away with this skinny zebra?

I really like them on you, especially in Pic 2 with the second belt....gorgeous and very Angie-esque outfit!

I think they would work with your current shoes. Love the shine on those.

What was the trouble with the booties? Did they break the drape at the bottom? Or just look the wrong colour or style?

One of the pockets looks a bit wrinkly in front...do they need a bit of a steam?

Suz - pants have not had a good pressing, they arrived pretty wrinkled from being mailed.
I felt that the colour of the booties was off - too pinky beige for an outfit that was fairly black/white. I think with different toppers the booties might work. However - different heel height, and I would run into PPL problems oh no!

Thank you Angie for weighing in! I love #2 as well - still feels casual, yet has dressed up vibe.

OMG those white pants are amazing on you and you have styled them fantastically! LOVE!! I think your pumps work and also wonder whether you have any kind of animal-print footwear to try?

I really like both outfits and your current pair of shoes totally work. Do you have to contend with wet/snowy weather? If not, the pumps should be fine. I was looking for a little more coverage over my feet to keep them warm and dry.

There are a few animals in my closet - leopards and snakes. Unfortunately they are a scant 1/2" heel - I feel these pants need a bit more of a heel. I hope to do minimal outdoor walking in these pants - but if the elements are not cooperating, I will probably tuck the pants into boots (avert thine eyes!), and change footwear on arrival.

I agree with Suz, the outfits look essentially Angie-esque! Ans those pants give a polished look to the outfit. They can be teamed up with any jewel tone top/sweater/jacket and the outfit would look great.
