Increasing casualness is a real issue. I’ve been wearing the blazer with leggings and wondering if that’s ‘too mixed’, but I kinda like it.

The blazer is fab! And I think that coat is so cool.

The blazer is such a great fit! Very sharp and not overwhelming.
I was wondering how you will wear it, to make it more everyday and not save for special. I think leggings is a good choice.

I ordered the trousers… I found them online. I hope I ordered the right size…

OMG, the watercolor coat! So expressive. It brings me joy to see it. Thanks for sharing the photo.

That blazer is really lovely on you!

The blazer is beautiful, and the fit is spot on. I hope the pants fit well too.
I get what you’re saying about the lightweight coat, but I do like the colors in it.

The size 4 pants were just a smidge too small. Returned and reordered a 6, and I’m happy to say they work! I do note they’re a little ‘hip-py’ - that is the hip curve is low and I don’t quite fill them out, but I think it’s ok. They fall pretty nice.

Barbour Constable size 4 has sadly come and gone this afternoon. There was something off about it; the belt at the back. It may have been the individual jacket itself

I haven't bought a blazer in years, because I don't need one, but if I got one, that would be on my list!
I disagree with you that the second coat is more suburban. I guess it depends on the city you live in. Have you seen the street fashion videos of NYC lately? Very much like that.

I would say it also depends where in a city you go. If I still hung out in Hipsterville and the Hipsterville farmer’s market, I think it could be cute. But where I go, I also worry it would say ‘mug me.’ It’s a very happy jacket!

Rachy - congrats on getting the suit. Love the fit of the jacket. I’m a leggings and long jacket girl. Legging are easy to change up the footwear. Usually knee boots or booties but I’d wear that w OTK boots to channel my inner pirate. But I love a suit so I’m so glad the pants work for you. Enjoy your gorgeous outfit!

Sorry the Barbour didn’t work. To my eye it’s almost like a stylized 60’s mini dress riff. So you need to like that look and it has to hit just right. When I tried playing with the belt for shaping I really didn’t think it worked. It’s a very specific visual.

I’m contemplating looking at the Constable again when there’s a full rack of jackets and sizes. I really liked the jacket when I tried it on originally. But it was the last in the store and I thought maybe it was a little big. So I ordered a size down. The one that came was kind of ‘twisty’ though. Somehow it didn’t fall straight, even with belt rebuttoned so it wasn’t shaped. I’d be order up again, but they’re out

I’m sure they will restock and sale rachy. It’s meant to be super straight so if it came twisty and wrinkled it would have looked awful. It’s “mod” imho so it’s needs that twiggy look. I can’t find the one I remember but that “shift” a-line look so I has to fit shoulders and arms neatly and gave volume but not too much volume. I have a Kate spade granny coat I wear to work. Similar vibe. I’ll be interested in your thoughts when you retry.

I love both the jackets on you. I'm regretting that you didn't choose the long jacket (in addition to the blazer that you rock). It has a great vibe to it.

It was pretty, wasn’t it! I’ll be going back come fall, even tho things are back to full price. Sometimes shopping is just easier then. I’m still interested in the Constable jacket too.

The blazer is WONDERFUL! Love the teal on you. Good pick!
