A couple of days ago I was in Loft, they had the 40% off which was exciting as I'd been stalking a top. It's the one featured on the blog yesterday. I love it. I tried the chinos and they ARE really comfortable per Angie's review however I just didn't find them that flattering on me. For some reason they seemed to make my legs look really short. I bought several other items which I will add to finds . I haven't received the linen pants yet as they didn't have that color in my store, they only had black and dark green. I am in dire need of tops as I purged almost all of my T-shirts last year and more blouses recently. I still have more to go but I was feeling like I really needed a refresh in the top department. I've ordered pants from JCrew which haven't arrived and also a pair of Sloan cream skinny from BR which I like. I am SO done with all my low waist pants and they are in the pile to go. I will try to post a WIW pic but I need to do it from my phone. Happy Easter everyone:)
Ooh very nice choices! I often find I like a lot of the clothes at Loft online but I get overwhelmed in the store. I think I should give it another try.
Lovely soft tops! They also look like they'd pair nicely with the linen pants for a smarter casual boho vibe. All the pattern and color should give you a nice refresher ^^
I had a client a few years ago who was a designer for Loft. It was interesting hearing some back story about the design process. I remember telling her that I had a t-shirt from there (it was white with a black lacy print on the front) that was one of the best I had ever owned. And I have been happy to see that t-shirt shape (a little bit shaped to the body, with a crew neck) continues to remain in their line, and I have bought a couple more like it in later years. And may do so again.
Gail - I also tried on the pants, and passed on them. They were pretty good, but didn't care for the pockets on me. Per texstyle's reco, I tried the Lou & grey chill out pants that I like (size down). Looks like you got a lot of nice tops.
