Quick post to say, I am officially done with wishing my eyes were a different colour so I could "wear my eye colour" and bought a few warm green/olive-y pieces for spring/summer to do just that. Having always been told the colour wouldn't work for my skin, I forewent earthy greens in favour of cooler blue-greens (which I still love), even though my eyes are hazel with a good dose of warm green and brown in them. I quite like how these look and will consider adding more olive ... since I'm most comfortable in neutrals and nearly-neutrals, hooray for adding more of them and embracing something about myself that I didn't before!
1. simple t-shirt, described as brown but has a strong dark earthy green undertone to my eye.
2. open-knit vest - impulse purchase that I'm really excited to wear . I would describe it as a true olive green.
