Jayne made a great point the other day about not being able to think about Spring wardrobe while it's still cold outside. I completely agree. This temperature-driven hibernation in winter-related-styling had cost me gorgeous red mac coat, but that's maybe a story for another thread.

Anyway, it's getting noticeably warmer in my neck of woods and I find myself thinking about this scarf. Its green color (what do you call this shade?) is very appealing. It's fresh, zingy and fun. I first fell in love with the color when I saw lovely messenger bag in this shade, but since I'm happiest with least number of bags possible, I did not buy it as my current one is still going strong. But I had the top in similar color in past, which I adored.

Then the other day I saw this scarf at the second hand shop and I just had to walk in and check it against my face.

Here is where I need your help:
You may have noticed I stay mostly with my reds, purples, teals and neutrals. Deep, saturated colors which work with my pale skin, greenish eyes and dark hair with hints of auburn.
I am not good with reading colors and branching into unknown territories color-wise, but I do know I have to stay away from yellow, unless worn very far from my face - I look very bad in yellowish anything.

So, back to the siren call of the green in question. It's not a case of even wanting to have something in this color, just understanding why - out of all colors which are not my typical ones - this one speaks to me.

If you don't feel like elaborating, you can use yay/nay.
Is this good color for me?

If you do feel like elaborating, then:
If YAY, why?
If NAY, why?

Thank you.

Bonus photo: This morning in my neck of wood. Spring is definitely here.
