I love the idea of light green with silver and grey, thanks Angie!

Man + skirt = hot!

Oh, look how they styled the long sleeved sweater on Net-A-Porter, and play the video, I love it: http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/321099

This must be from the same collection as the one that Angie opened the thread with, see it in the runway shot? With the paisley skirt and pilgrim shoes.

Here's the skirt from the link above, also by Marc Jacobs. Santa can bring me this, too. Please! http://www.net-a-porter.com/am/product/321113

Oh! This a very happy outfit! I would take every item gladly and wear them styled as is to X-mas dinner. I'd do it again on New Year's if someone will fly me to Montego Bay. I think everybody would enjoy it. Even and esp. my year-of-the-ox kin, who would also spend a lot of time laughing at it.

But after all, my brother did buy me a teddy bear to wear on my head two Christmases ago. Which he expected me to wear and I did.

Well, I have to admit that I'd wear several of these pieces if I got the chance, just not all together. But I'll let Anna have the hat!

Well it does look very warm and I am always cold.

You know, my comments did not equal an automatic NO vote.

I actually love his stuff. It is all too maximal and over the top to me, but a part of me is super attracted to it anyway. I guess it might be my shadow style. Hat and all.

Oddly enough, the outfit is kind of growing on me. I'm loving the mix of green and silver. And the purple variation is kind of interesting as well. But I'll forgo the hats because I'm not really a hat lover at the best of times.

And it would maybe get some of my students to look up from their cell phones when I entered the classroom?

There you go. A professors outfit. PERFECT.

Rachy, we need to see your teddybear hat. Have you worn it?

Claudia, I saw the runway show with this collection while it was streaming live in Paris - right in the middle of a train station. It was VERY theatrical. I loved the shoes then too.

Oh yes, I wear the teddy bear on my head. I esp. like to wear it to walk the dog. Same color fur. We match.

Hehe.

I will take a pic.

My one BIG complaint was that for this runway show he was supposedly inspired by the blog Advanced Style, but he used more than one 14 year old model in it. If you look at the runway shots of the show, with the scarves and the hat you can't even see the face of the model. This was after a big push in the industry to not use models under 16, which judging from the reports I read is that he really didn't care.

Ha! Perfect when you want to be noticed, but not seen.

I can definitely see the appeal of individual pieces, and I like the color scheme very much. And yes, he is not hard on the eyes himself.

it's a really witty outfit. i WANT the shoes.

Would keep me warm in Wisconsin. First time I think I can say that about designer wear.

I will also take the hat please.

If only the hat came in red and white I could be the Cat In A Hat! Actually I find all these peices quite interesting, particularly the shoes but together the outfit looks somewhat contrived and not all that much 'real world".

He must have a band of knitters on steroids.
It's interesting which areas of skin chooses to focus on.
